Seasonal campers came over to our camp threatening to have our cars towed for being a few inches on the gravel road instead of just asking us if we could move them a little bit. Some seasonal campers are extremely disrespectful being loud driving golf carts up and down the road next to all the camp sites until 4 in the morning waking everyone up, and causing tons of dogs to bark. We loved camping here, for years, but sadly this will be our last year.
unfortunately this will be my last time camping here. Had some ignorant neighbors being loud and racing their golf carts at 4am disturbing others and dogs, keeping people awake. once asked to keep it down the neighbor (seasonal camper) came up and threatened to have our cars towed for being parked a few inches on the gravel "which was not an issue the day before or all of the next day". Also once asked to keep it down they started getting rude and arrogant. Was a fun place to take the family for the weekend, but im not gonna deal with ignorant people.
Staff is great, and the pine trees are breathtaking. Plenty of activities for the kids. Wifi is weak away from the store and AT&T was terrible. Campground is well maintained and beautiful. We will return.
We went for the Halloween weekend. It was our first time there. We were told about this campgrounds from another family that loves camping there. The news owners are wonderful. They helped us back our camper in. When our first spot wasn't long enough for the length of our camper they found us another spot. They stayed with us till we were backed in and were satisfied with our campsite. Everyone was friendly not only the staff but the seasonal campers. Great activities. Everyone had great things to say about the new owners. Our kids who are teenagers asked if we could go back next year. We can't wait.
We are traveling from the West coast to the East coast and so far this has been my favorite campground. The staff is extremely helpful. My partner is riding his bicycle and I'm driving the camper. When I arrived at the campground they only had a back in sight but Jim backed the camper in for me and even offered to help set it up. Bathrooms were small but very clean. Tonight they have having a gathering of all the campers for a corn roast. Everyone here has been very friendly. They seem to be working all the time on improvements. Love this place and if I lived here this would be my go to place for every weekend!! Very kid and dog friendly! Definitely a family campground!
