Great pools and fairly close to the beach but there seems to be no speed enforcement or rules. Feared for my kids lives. Speed limit says 7 and you’re lucky if people were going 15. In fact, they were rude as can be when we were upset about the speeds going by our camper. I’m a seasonal at a campground in NY and I can’t even imagine driving the way these people do. Store was lame. Barely open and didn’t have many amenities. Loved the lobsters right outside the campground. Came on Thousand Trails. Would never pay money to actually come here.

Very noisey, hearing the F word all the time. Vehicles, even golf carts were going well over the speed limit. Seems like the seasonal were running the place. Huge fight across from us. Sites weren't kept up. Our fire pit was never cleaned out. Never going back.

I wasn’t going to leave a review because I hate being negative. But I changed my mind because if I had taken the reviews that I read serious, I would have saved myself the disappointment. Normally when I read the bad reviews I normally ignore them and chalk them off as being someone who just had a bad experience and is over reacting. Once a read a bad review and the person gave a bad review because of mosquitos. Come on you’re in the woods, what did they expect? So I am careful with bad reviews. With this campground I found most of the bad reviews were accurate. I had very high hope for this campground for a couple reasons. The first is this was part of my upgraded Thousand trails membership. Another reason is the communication before I arrived. I had several communications before my reservation. The first I called the park because my confirmation showed my site was too small for my rig. When I called they told me this wasn’t the case and she told me I would be at 205. I was also impressed that they reached out to me offering online check in, which I did and again it showed me at site 205. The day or 2 before my reservation I received an email from Jake. He just said they were looking forward to my stay and if I had any questions to reply to the email. I did have a couple questions. Their map shows a propane filling station, so I asked about that. He said they do not have 1 and gave me a couple options where I could fill my tanks. I didn’t think that was a big deal and i was glad I asked. I did ask him about the online check in and he said it’s not really an online check in. He said they haven’t figured out how to stop those emails. Again not a big deal, just strange. I arrived at the campground around 6pm and the office was closed. I just had to call the ranger and he would come down. Which he did and it wasn’t an issue. When he gave me my paperwork he said I was at site 38. I told him I was told I would be at 205 and he said nope. I didn’t push it, and again I figured no big deal. I got set up and the site was pretty narrow. Not the best for a camper with slides on both sides. I wasn’t overly impressed with the site, but this has been the experience with all 3 of my thousand trails sites. I was alone and that night I had a hard time sleeping because of the noise. They have gas powered golf carts, mopeds and scooters running up and down the street well above the 7mph speed limit. If it was once in awhile fine but it constant. I was put on the Main Street so I would assume that being off the Main Street wouldn’t be so bad. My other complaints are similar to the other 2 thousand trails campgrounds. They are older and most of the sites are run down. I did walk around and some sections were the seasonal were nicer. It almost seems like at 1 point it was a trailer park and they turned it into a campground. While I was walking around I noticed the site that I was originally assigned was vacant. I’m not sure why they switched me. Maybe I would have had a better experience if they hadn’t. I found that the Thousand trails campgrounds that I have stayed at do not clean up the site between stays. All 3 times that I stayed the fire pits were filled with trash. I would say this 1 was my most disappointing stay. I actually left a day early and went to a campground around the corner which I paid 85 per night. You have to be pretty disappointed to go from 0 to 85 per night. I love the campground that I am at. I am curious if the thousand trail campground in other parts of the country are the same. I’m just thanking god that I didn’t buy 1 of those other package before I actually stayed at some of their campgrounds. I was so close to buying 1 too. I’m stuck with what I have for 2 years, but won’t renew unless I see some huge changes. I had another reservation at this campground but have canceled it.

We got out stationary camper a year ago at the Pinehurst. The best decision we made. Love every moment this season. From opening day to closing day.
