We ate at the restaurant but did not stay at the resort. The staff is extremely personable. They treat everyone like family. I ordered the ribeye and calm chowder and the food was stupendous. I atmosphere is relaxing with a fire place. I will definitely be back!
Between Zion Park and Bryce Canyon, a magical place, brings back childhood memories because it reminded me of mountain hiking experiences with my parents. Worth every visit. In the morning we ate at the unique rural restaurant, the food is plentiful and not expensive $114 for 5 people. Highly recommended.
Definitely went down hill since new owners. We arrived early on Saturday and the restaurant closed early and wasn't open until the next week. We stayed the whole week and after Saturday nothing was done to be clean and the campground was empty. The pool was green and not cleaned daily or the towels restocked. The bathrooms and showers were not cleaned the whole week or even the paper products restocked. Even the lights were turned off during the week. It felt like we were abandoned until around Thursday we saw workers and cleaning crew start cleaning for the new guests. But our daily price for the week didn't change. We paid too much for nothing. They have also taken the game room out for the kids. But now they allow "dry camping" which means they can camp in the back street and run their loud construction generators all night. Even ask management about having them turned off after 10 pm. Nope they accommodated them more than the ones staying at the camp. Sad to see it go down so fast. We have stayed 3+ times from a week to 3 weeks every summer. We might think of staying somewhere else next summer.
We went to the restaurant. More than once! The service is outstanding. The food is delicious. The restaurant is clean. The prices are reasonable. Love the food!!! And the Servers!
This place is a hidden gem. It's in an absolutely gorgeous mountain area close to lakes, streams, hiking trails, Bryce canyon, and Zions canyon. The restaurant is the best place on the mountain to eat with 5 star food at 2 star prices. The staff and owners are very welcoming and make the place feel like your home away from home. Thank you Becky, Lee, Jesse and Rick. I will definitely be going back!
