Nice town. Friendly folks. Spots are clean and safe. Very grateful and swing through this town every time, buying some groceries, eating at the diner (nice staff), and filling up the RV w fuel.

I am currently at PIOCHE CITY RV PARK in Pioche, Nevada. I have spent three nights here in my motorhome and will spend a few more. My daughter and two granddaughters were here for my first two nights in their motorhome. They relocated to a full month stay at another park in town. This is a free city park that has ten level pull through RV sites each with sewer and water connections. There is a seven day stay limit of concurrent days per visit. Donations are requested to be put in the cleverly designed motorhome metal box on the front street entrance. There is also a garbage can at each site. Unfortunately, it doesn’t appear that garbage pickup occurs often enough as almost all of the garbage cans are about to flow over. There are large beautiful shade trees at each site. And, very large boulders define each site and enhance the landscape. I particularly enjoy the view of the valley from my window. It is generally quiet with the occasional vehicle traffic passing or like right now, the ball field is getting its grass mowed. This park has easy access from 4th Street which runs along behind the Lincoln County Courthouse, city swimming pool, ballfields and playground. Pioche is a small mountain city, a living ghost town, of about 1,500 residents. In the city proper there are vacant buildings, such as the old theater, as well as currently operating businesses, like Tillies minimart. Tillies is the local area grocery and one of two gas stations. The other gas station, the Sinclair, A&B Service, is a full-service gas station and auto service repair. Gas prices at both places seem in line with current market. We like this small mountain town, and especially appreciate the free RV site offered by the city. We will return to PIOCHE CITY RV PARK.

Free little city RV pull throughs, clean, each site has a water spigot, sewer hookup, trash bin on site. Sites are side by side but boundaries are clear, tree shade. Good for overnight, some street traffic but peaceful, ATT 2 bars, good connectivity.
