Customer Reviews
Don't pass this place by. The bathroom was very clean. The people are great. We would stop here again.
I called them to see if they had availability as a backup to staying at Cathedral Gorge SP, and to see if it would be safe to wait until after I checked out the SP. They said I would need to book in advance to hold the spot, which made sense, so I went ahead and gave them my credit card. I also confirmed that there would be room for our 27' travel trailer, truck, and an electric car, and asked if it would be ok to plug in the EV. The SP was completely full, so we rolled up to this place. When we arrived, we were unable to track anyone down, and couldn't see where we would fit without a lot of uncomfortable maneuvering. The entrance is on a hill. The road was wide enough for one vehicle. And there was a blind corner ahead. We would have had to back in from the road, and at a very sharp angle. We found a pull through spot at the Roll Inn RV Park two blocks away instead. I called a bit later and reached someone to tell them we couldn't see how to fit ourselves into a spot or find anyone to help us. Awhile later, the $70 charge came through on our credit card. Ok no big deal. I can donate $70 to a small business in the middle of nowhere. Since they had 50 amp, I thought I would at least see if I could plug in my EV for a bit faster charging than the 30 amp max at Roll Inn. I tracked down the camp host, who was very friendly and accommodating. We plugged into one spot, and there was power, but it wouldn't keep charging, likely due to a ground issue in their electrical system. We tried another spot, and there was no power at all. At that point we gave up and felt super lucky that we hadn't spent a bunch of time squeezing into a spot that didn't end up having working electricity.
THANK YOU, Dawn (AND Guy) for your splendid Host/Manager assistance and friendly appreciative for business assistance. Grateful for fitting us into an almost full campground of renowned views. Compliments, Dawn, for your Sunflower additions (and terraced banks stabilizations).
We phoned them and made a reservation. They asked for our credit card “to hold a site”. When we arrived we didn’t like the park what so ever. Very unkept and felt like a back lane of a residential community. Very small “rv park”. I would not even want to plug my rv into the broken electrical post. The park manager’s little dog wouldn’t stop barking and the female manager had a bad cold. I told her we will not be staying. When she ask why. I told her we didn’t feel comfortable staying at the park. As she was slamming her door of her rv she said they would cancel the transaction. Well surprise surprise. They still ran our card even though we didn’t stay there. We are now working with our bank to get our money back. Reading the other reviews we thought it would be ok. Wrong wrong wrong. It’s a busted up old park that needs a lot of TLC.
Great rv park. Spacious sites, beautiful view, clean, restrooms old but are as new. Utilities great . Excellent wifi. Sites r back in mostly which took a little skill, but r very wide. Town is neat, lots of empty storefronts but enuf open. Cathedral Gorge SP and Silver State OHV trail fun. Lots of history.
