We used a RV site for a night on our travels along I80. The grounds are nicely maintained. The site offered 50/30/20 electric service. The concrete pads were level and allowed us to stay hooked up. There is a building with flush toilets which were clean. We checked it out because there was the potential for a tornado. The payment station was located in the tent camping area after the picnic and playground area. The dirt road was accessible, but a dirt road. If We were on the area, we would use this area again. Sites are first come, first served and allow for 14 day states.

Well maintained and beautiful spot. We spent one overnight on our road trip. Access was very easy. One note: the map on their website did not correctly mark the tent camping area, which is located along the main road into the recreation area just past the RV sites.

50 amp. Water available, but NOT full utilities!! The management office will tell you there is. Easy water fill, and dumpsite in town at city park campsite. But beautiful place!!

Love to kayak here. The NRD has put in a place on the west side that I can pull right up to the lake edge and unload, fish, or just hang out on the tailgate. I wish there was a bit more shade and a little less mud given we have sandpit lakes so close by that it is hard to beat their clear water. If you kayak this, go north under the bridge and follow up stream, it is pretty neat with a lot of bends and narrower passages that are fun to navigate.
