Customer Reviews
Great campground. Big, clean and spread out sites. We had such a wonderful time. We had a 3x campsite that was perfect for our big group. 18 people and 6 vehicles. The picnic tables had just been painted. There was a beautiful wood plank walkway that runs next to the river.
My husband and I stay at Pipi every year. We love this peaceful campground. Mike is the host and he always gives us a warm welcome. He works hard to keep this place clean and safe. Holly is also a great camp host and a pleasure to be around. This year we stayed for two weeks and we got to explore more of the roads and forest than we have before. Our camp host Mike is a forest expert and he filled us in on some nearby places to explore. What an incredible place. It's about a 3-4 hour drive for us and we still plan to come back every year.
The gentleman that is the camp host is awesome. Super friendly and helpful. He keeps the campground very clean.
We only stayed one night at this campground. It's in a beautiful location with the river right next to it. My family had fun fishing, swimming, and walking the trail next to the river. The vault toilets were clean enough. Vault toilets aren't going to be pristine. The only feedback I have is that the campsite wasn't cleaned before we got there at check-in time. There was trash from the previous campers that we cleaned up. The other thing is that the road is terrible to the campground. There were tons of potholes. Very large ones, so go slow. Otherwise, we had a great trip and will probably come back some day.
My review is only for the Day Use Area. This place is beautiful, with a few picnic tables and grills, but the two times I've been there, the restrooms are EXTREMELY dirty, filthy, and gross.
Nice, smaller campground. The grounds are clean and quiet. The Cosumnes River runs through the area. Fished the river and caught lots of small trout. Check out this hidden gem. ALOHA!
I have camped here many times. I have also been able to go here as a day trip. It's a great camp site. One time I was evacuated due to the Electra Fire and they let me stay an extra night for free.
