The guards are awful. They are on a huge power trip and strictly enforce summertime rules in the middle of winter in an empty park. These folks are so simple they apparently are not permitted to use any common sense in order to extend any courtesy to the few customers they still have. It's no wonder PL lost most of the park to a new owner. They worry more about rules than they do about customer satisfaction even when they have almost no customers!

Location is great, swimming pool is huge and golf cart parade is amazing option for adults and kids to have fun! Yes, it is loud but it makes that place so special like no other campgrounds. Food at local restaurant was great and not expensive. The reason to give this place 4 stars is security and safety. It looks like any stranger could walk in - our bike was stolen at swimming pool location at noon. There is no lifeguard at all, I hope someone from staff will be able to help if something happened.

Has gone totally downhill since 2022 winter camping. Only one main bath house open trash blowing everywhere. No barrels anywhere so people leaving poop bags throughout if they even pick it up, WiFi horrible. So sad used to be a great winter getaway.

We came to enjoy the beach and our RV. The Lazy River and pool area are great for all family members. The laundromat is clean and very usable. Overall, this has been a very pleasant 2 weeks.

If you love the beach and the ocean this is the camp ground you want. Easy beach access with nice clean sand. The pools and lazy river were also a nice surprise, though finding a chair for your stuff is very difficult. Negatives, the camper spots are TIGHT. They really pack them in. Which is probably why you can't have camp fires here. Anywhere. Privacy doesn't exist. Also the nightly golf cart parade is fun once, after that it just becomes a blocker. Drivers are inconsiderate of people trying to walk anyway after sunset; God forbid the 2mph parade stop to let someone cross the street. Lastly, half the people do not pickup after their dogs here, so watch your step for dog and/or goose mess.
