This park provides a blend of outdoor recreation and comfortable accommodations, catering to both transient guests and those looking for longer stays. Nestled at 1010 Saraland Blvd S, Saraland, AL 36571, this establishment offers a range of services including RV parking, basic campground facilities, and motel-style lodging. One of the standout features of Plantation Motel & RV Trailer Park-Saraland is its emphasis on providing essential amenities for RV owners. However, customers have noted that the park charges for full camping stays even when guests only use the dump station briefly, which has been a point of contention for some visitors.

Plantation Motel & RV Trailer Park-Saraland also offers basic lodging options through its motel-style accommodations. The property is described as quiet and peaceful, tucked away from the main road, making it an ideal spot for those seeking a tranquil environment. However, past reviews have raised concerns about cleanliness and customer service, with some guests reporting issues with pests and rude staff.

  • Location: Conveniently located in Saraland, AL, just off Saraland Blvd.
  • Facilities: RV parking, dump station, basic campground facilities, and motel-style lodging.
  • Customer Feedback: Mixed reviews highlight both the convenience of the location and the challenges with pricing policies, cleanliness, and customer service.

While Plantation Motel & RV Trailer Park-Saraland may not be the most polished facility in the area, it serves as a functional option for travelers who need basic accommodations or RV parking. Potential guests are encouraged to research the property thoroughly before making reservations, as experiences can vary widely.

I used the RV park part of this place, but I only needed to dump my tanks. They don't allow outsiders to come in and just dump so I had to buy a campsite for the night even though I never pulled into one and was only in the park for about 15 minutes. Using just the dump station cost me over $51. To be fair, I was up against it since I had been calling around and could not find any other place within 20 miles that was open and would accept outsiders. Still, given the minimal cost to them of the added waste and the fact that they explicitly asked me to leave a review, I think they could have come up with a price that was fair to both of us and not simply charged me for a full night of camping when they knew up front that I only planned on dumping, then leaving again right away. The dump station was a big septic cistern that probably gets pumped out every so often. The park itself is very small and hard to find as it's tucked back behind the motel. It looks pretty quiet and peaceful but I wasn't there long enough to get much more sense of it than that.

Absolutely disgusting!!! Roaches in the bathroom and in dresser and night stand!!! Disgusting!!! Owner was very rude and didn't want to refund me my money after we showed him videos and threatened to call police and health department. That place should be shut down immediately!!

Hey man y’all know what you’re signing up for at a place like this. All rooms outdated, got bed bugs in one room and moved to another with no issues. Like folks said, small rooms but didn’t bother me cause it was just me working nights. I’ve stayed there for two jobs. I honestly think they could lower the price more or offer monthly rates.

They asked me to leave because of my registered service animal. I was able to stay paying pet deposit it was a cold night the heater is dirty Ann's loud and made the room hard to breath, so I turned it off the heater wouldn't stop I had to unplug it to stop the noise and smell. In my expierence if I paid 10 dollars four the room it would have been to much.
