I’m a seasonal resident, effectively “living” here during the summer and absolutely love it! Everyone on staff is so friendly and responsive. The old manager sadly passed away recently but he was wonderful. The new manager is also fantastic. She’s helpful, kind, and funny and has been a pleasure to work with. It’s clear that Neil (the owner) puts an effort into finding the right fit for the park. There are tons of activities all summer long, including darts, BINGO, 50/50 raffle, and park parades. The location is convenient, right near the interstate for travelers, close to the ferry to VT, and only a few minutes away from downtown. I highly recommend!
We really enjoyed our stay at Plattsburgh RV Park. We enjoyed the convenience of renting a stocked camper. All we had to bring was our food and our clothes. The park was quiet compared to how many campers there were. Very enjoyable. We would go again. We gave four stars for service because we never really saw a person for customer service however the email response was quick and informative. The online check in was easy and check out was simple.
Had a very pleasant stay at the RV park. The site was very spacious and level. Would have liked to stay longer, but I booked too late for the 4th of July weekend timeframe. The laundry area and bathhouse were well maintained. Did my check in online and had everything sent online for our reservation. Had no delays with checking in. (Very nice). Overall the location is great and the park is a very nice place. I would definitely book another stay here.
We have stayed at Plattsburgh RV Park several times. If you are in this area, and in need of a RV spot, defnitely check it out. People are super friendly, there is a ton of green space, pool and convenient to just about anything you might need.
Great place for our group! The owner was so nice in letting us use one site for the RV and a tent. Bathhouse has clean toilets and showers. No quarters needed. The campground is conveniently located near gas stations and a dollar general. Cumberland state park is around the corner,too.
