Pleasant Forest only does in person interviews, in 2025!! How archaic? A potential buyer of property in Arizona can't compkete a purchase because the Board ONLY does In Person Interviews. Look somewhere else. 47 years in the Intelligence Community and some process remains in the 1970's.

Lived here while I was stationed at JBLM. I was gone often for training exercises and this place was safe, secure, quiet, and very affordable. Plus, it was a peaceful retreat in the middle of nature, but very close drive to anything I needed! Summers at the club are unbeatable.

This is A private club not A business open to the public. It is managed by club members and most of the employees are members or volunteers. We've been members here for 5 years and really like it here. We bought when we lived in AK and wanted A place to stay and store our cars and RV in Oly while visiting. We've since moved back to Oly and keep our lot because it's convenient to store the 5th wheel there and nice to have A quiet place to escape to. Almost everyone we have met here has been friendly and fun. The members are pretty vigilant about keeping an eye on things and being on the lookout for something out of the ordinary. I think my stuff is safer here than in my storage unit in town, if something happens on my lot in the park my neighbors will try to sort it out for me and will let me know if I have an issue. Sure there are rules but they make sure you know them before you join and they haven't changed much in the last 5 years. PFCC for me has been A reasonably run and priced, fun place to visit in my down time. It's not perfect or professional or polished. It's A camping club governed and operated by volunteers.

I called and they lady I talked to was screening me to see if I was over 55 years old and had a family. Sounds like discriminating against me "Agism" to the fullest. After I told her we were grandparents( We're not) she said that we are not a good fit. Sounds like she only wants elders that are in their sixties and older, with no visitors. Then she says the upfront costs are $4,000.00 and an additional $4,000.00 to help the get a new septic(sewer system), plus $200.00 a month in Club fees. Being a "Blackman" red flags🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩 went up like "Fireworks"πŸŽ‡πŸŽ‡πŸŽ‡πŸŽ‡πŸŽ‡πŸŽ†πŸŽ†. This Club is a "Good Ole Boy" RV Park that only caters to certain kinds of people and ages. The reviews were awful and I asked the lady to address them, but all she did was make the reviews more accurate. I asked to speak with the Board, and she said they only speak to members and not potential members. "Karen" -Not her real name was more worried about "Quiet Time" and not getting a customer that could add a positive twist to their RV experience( their loss) .If I was you, "Run far away from this place". It is one of two lawsuits away from filing for "Bankruptcy". πŸ’°πŸš½β˜’οΈToxic Environment.

Love the place and residents. The people who run it are outdated and antiquated... This place needs a younger mindset to come in and help liven and enlighten everyone.
