Pleasant Hill Campground

We had an incredible stay at Pleasant Hill Campground! Coming from out of state, we were hoping for a relaxing and fun experience, and we got exactly that. The campground offers so much to do, with activities like live music and a challenging (but super fun!) putt-putt golf course that kept us entertained throughout our stay. The amenities were top-notch – everything was clean, modern, and well-maintained. The bathhouses were especially nice, and the pool was a perfect spot to cool off and relax. The whole campground was spotless, and the atmosphere was so welcoming and enjoyable. Highly recommend Pleasant Hill Campground for anyone looking for a clean, fun, and activity-filled getaway. We’ll definitely be back!

Unlike Mr. ELMER CARROLL, my fiance and I had an absolute 100% amazing time at this "pleasant" camping facility. We stayed in the hexagon camp and I was so delighted with it, I squealed. The staff was phenomenal, over the top in all ways. Cleanliness was unbelievable. My fiance's family has been staying at the Bar Harbor Campground religiously since the 1970's and the new ownership there and their changes and rude staff made us "try" something else. And...we loved every minute of it. We will be back and make every recommendation possible. We will even inquire about both working there summer of 2025! All the way from Caribou, Maine. Kuddos for all your efforts, the people who want to see the positivity, will. The others like Mr. Carroll can go to Bar Harbor Campground, where it seems would match up perfectly.

My husband and I and two children rented the Class C Motor home at Pleasant Hill this time around for 4 nights and we had such an awesome time. It was nice to have full amenities right at our site so we did not have to go out to shower or anything. We had fires at night in the fire ring and swimming in the heated outdoor pool during the day and playground fun at all hours. We even used the laundry mat at Pleasant hill the night before heading home. The owners and staff are so amazing and always are very friendly and helpful and go out of their way to make sure your stay is satisfactory and great. We will keep going back and urge everyone thinking of booking with them to give them a try. You will not regret it.

We had a wonderful stay. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful. You can tell the new owners have made lots of new improvements to the facility with more to come. The bathrooms and showers were cleaned daily and were very nice. The pool was very refreshing and crystal clear. They have a few different playgrounds for kids they also had a big inflatable bounce pad to jump on. 10/10 would recommend staying at pleasant hills campground.

This campground was lovingly restored in 2024 and the TLC shows! It offered all we could want—clean bathrooms and showers, well-manicured lots, and recreational activities galore. It was also conveniently located 10 minutes outside of town to grab the items we inevitably forgot. Though it’s close to town, you’re tucked off the road and surrounded by trees for some peace and quiet. This might be my favorite part! I’d recommend this campground to anyone—whether you’re coming from afar or just a local looking for a weekend retreat.
