Friendly staff, clean amenities, quiet, and plenty for the kids to do. We stayed the weekend in our travel trailer. The kids loved playing on the playground and on the beach. Hackensack and Walker are a short drive away if you’d like to grab food or drinks and the Paul Bunyan bike trail is great!

If you have just purchased a Scamp and want a place close enough to run through the systems and be close enough for adjustments, this is a good place to stay. Serene and nostalgic feeling, like you expect that it felt the same 50 or 60 years ago camping there. Much tree cover. Quiet nights. Well mown in proper areas. Deep lake views as well as quiet waters with bullrushes and ducks.

Quiet campground. There is a nice playground for the kiddos. Kayaks, paddle boats, and canoes to use. Boat launch and docks to moor your boat are available. Lots of people here did a lot of fishing. We don't fish, so we can't say much about that. The sites are a bit unlevel. On some sites, the power box is a bit of a distance away, so you may need an extension power cord. The manager may have available, but it is best to have one. Water hose same on some sites, not all. No sewer hookups. Dumpsite available for a fee. Swim beach with swim pads is also available. We did not swim during our stay. All in all was a good stay. We stayed 5 days.

What a fantastic family friendly campground. The beach is clean weed free, shallow and gigantic! They have all the amenities for kids and adults; paddle boats, kayaks, aqua mat's and a playground. We did a scavenger hunt with the kids and made friends with other camping families so many friendly people! The public bathrooms were recently remodeled and kept very clean. Love this campground, we'll definitely be back in the future!!!!

We stayed here over the weekend and it was so much fun! The lady who runs this is the nicest person ever! She was so accommodating and friendly. The beach is so nice, weed free and they have tons of paddle boats to take out for free. A great place to check out even just to meet the owner is worth it!! ☺️ Thanks again for everything.
