Pleasant Valley RV Park

We loved our recent stay at Pleasant Valley RV Park! The staff could not have been more helpful! From check in to providing information about the area. Our RV spot was great, ( but truly they all are). There were hundred year old aspens, tall pine trees, grassy area, gravel area and concrete for your picnic table, chairs ( you bring ) and we also brought a propane firepit. It was spacious and fit all our needs and wants. The River was amazing. Lulled us to sleep at night and they had sitting areas for campers all along the river from property line to property line. Could not have been more please! We will be back!

UPDATE: Nice RV park, but the owners/hosts are overly intrusive. The minute we arrived she came over to my friend and asked “who are you, you didn’t introduce yourself”. We were there literally 5 mins and about to set up. They visited our campsite nine times in 36 hours, first to inform us we couldn’t have our awning out due to potential wind gusts, and then to reprimand us for leaving a folding chair on our lawn patio, claiming it would ruin the grass. They constantly appeared out of nowhere to complain about various things. Riding around in a golf cart, they micromanaged everyone, even yelling at others for not having their dogs on a leash even if the dog did not leave the rented area. *** she yelled at two older ladies who didn’t have their dog on a leash that was barking at the golf cart***. The light was not on in my vehicle, it was the guy next to me. It was impossible to relax with their constant interruptions, despite us being very quiet and respectful. Wifi signal is a joke. Was also told I couldn’t stream anything to my tv because “it will draw too much signal from other campers”. GO LOOK AT REVIEWS ON ALL RV SITES. “Owners wife is nasty and mean” was the most recent review.

This is the best RV park we've ever enjoyed in over two decades of camping. Beautiful riverfront location, quiet (you hear river instead of the road), clean, with friendly and helpful owners Josh & Nicole. A great place for respectful campers who love nature and dislike loud drunks and people who don't control or pick up after their dogs. If you're an obnoxious partier jerk who thinks safety & cleanliness rules don't apply to you, move on down the road. The only people who complain about the owners are the former.

Wow! This is a wonderful campground fronting the Arkansas River! The campground is off the road but on the river so there is no road noise. The facilities are excellent. We have extended our stay twice already. We have friends in the area who booked the cabin so they could visit. It is a peaceful place with just enough rules to keep it that way. Other campers are friendly. The owners, Nicole and Josh, are kind and helpful. The camp hosts Laura and Charlie are visible, friendly, and always ready to answer a question. We have been RVing all over the west and Canada for more than a decade and this is definately our favorite campground. It's perfect for us - close to adventure and not far from town.

This is by far the best RV Park around Salida CO IMO. Plenty of shade, right on Arkansas River but off US Hwy 50 which is huge. Minimal Hwy noise. Two sitting areas. One on the river and one above. Bathrooms, showers and sitting areas. Kids playground area. Flat, beautiful roads behind the park to walk, ride bikes and explore. This is our favorite by far. Owners Nicole & Josh are awesome as are hosts Charlie & Lora. Come here…you wont regret it. No way I’m staying anywhere else. Forgot..place is immaculately clean.
