I cannot recommend this Resort enough! The host are amazing and the grounds a plush and beautifully kept! Bathrooms are spotless and showers are HOT! Amazing location if traveling to the Black Hills don’t let this Gem escape your attention !

Incredible Hipcamp in the Black Hills. Would highly recommend Hipcamping here on your next trip out to the Custer area.

We LOVED our stay here. We stayed two nights and we wish it was longer. We had a 30 foot RV and Jack met us as we pulled in. We hooked up right away and easily. The place is just so pretty. With picnic tables all around and a beautiful willow tree. They have a friendly horse and even had some geese in the pond. We saw plenty of deer and wild turkeys too. It is right on the Mikelson trail so was fun to take our bikes for a beautiful ride in the Black Hills. There is also a driveway/trail up past the house that has gorgeous scenery. Jack was a great host. Helpful and nice. We wish we had more time. Isa let my girls feed her horse some carrots and they were thrilled about that. Definitely a trip to remember! A great and quiet place to park an RV and still feel a part of nature. We would definitely come back!

Plenty Star Ranch is located in the most beautiful area of the Black Hills in South Dakota. Located on the outskirts of Custer, SD, you will find an environment truly at one with nature. Management, Isa and Jack, are warm, inviting, and overall wonderful people. You will find exactly what you are looking for from the Black Hills here, and perhaps much more. Highly recommended. This place is as beautiful as it looks in the photos online. And the hospitality is second to none. Isa took such good care of my family during our very brief visit this morning. Ginger, the cat, and Skipper, the horse, made the day for my 7-year-old. Thanks, Isa!!
