Plymouth Sands Campground

We have camped here seasonally since the new owners took over. They improve it each year. It is looking amazing. The sandy Beach is fun and the river float is the best. Can't wait to see what they have done each time we return. This is a back to nature campground, very relaxing and enjoyable. Love the owners, they are the best!

We visited for the first time Columbus Day wkd, so we didn't get to fully enjoy the gorgeous beach, but it's a nice little campground. Foliage was beautiful and the beachfront sites are awesome. The owners are wonderful. We had some of the craziest wind I have ever encountered while camping and even though my tent was staked down, it became untethered and rolled while we were out hiking. The owners came by and staked it down using longer stakes to keep it in place until we came back. That is incredible customer service! And they deliver wood to your site! We can't wait to go back next summer to fully enjoy the beach and river.

As a repeat visitor to Plymouth Sands Campground, I can confidently say it’s my favorite camping spot in New Hampshire! Each visit has only reinforced my love for this place. The Baker River hugs the campground offering a beautiful stretch of beach perfect for relaxing, fishing, or taking a float down the river! The camp sites are scenic, offer privacy, and have great views of the river. The owners are extremely friendly and incredibly helpful. It's tucked away in it's own nature nook while being minutes away from the grocery store and Walmart. Plymouth Sands Campground never disappoints. It's a place where I can truly unwind and connect with nature. I can’t wait for my next visit! Highly recommend this gem to anyone looking for a fantastic camping experience.

If you are looking for the perfect campground in between the lakes and the mountains, this is it!! My husband and I spent a weekend here, kayaked the baker river which goes through the campground and then spent the rest of the weekend hiking. A lot to check out in the area. A must try also is Last Chair Brewery which is just down the street. The owners, Nick and Ashely, are so attentive. They had great recommendations for the area and were more than hospitable. You can just tell they are passionate about their campground and ensuring their campers have a great time! We will definitely be back!

My family and I have stayed here for the past four nights and it has been an absolute dream. The campground is clean and it makes you feel like you're in the middle of nature. Took my kids on the river yesterday,where you can borrow floats from the campground owners and it was such a peaceful flow down the river. And it's less than a 5-minute walk back. In addition to this their cost of firewood and the fact they deliver straight to your tent has been an amazing bonus. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who's looking for a convenient camping trip that does not require four-wheel drive to get into and it's not overly expensive, plus it has a lot of the basic amenities you would expect clean shower, accessibility to bathrooms and nature activities overall this is one of the most pleasant cases experiences I've had. And I've had the opportunity to camp all throughout the United States and other countries and I would highly recommend this one to anybody especially if you have children or animals. The owners of the camp are a younger couple who truly take pride in their campground and the entire time I've been here I have watched them take hours everyday making sure the yards are clean The campsites don't have trash in the bathrooms are fully stocked. And one additional bonus would be they have a ton of toys outdoor games for families to interact and engage together. My family had the pleasure of staying in spot 48, it's a short walk to the river and the amenities but it backs up to their open field that has all the games which has been wonderful since I have children. This campground exudes family-owned and safety.
