Customer Reviews
Rated for a one night stop.... we stayed one night on our way home to Utah. Easy access from Hwy 15. Quiet, clean and friendly. Not much to do on the property or in walking distance, but just fine for a one night sleepover. We asked for, and enjoyed the shade of the cottonwood trees. Our row of sites had no grass. However the tent sites had more shade and nice grass. I'd make several of these into RV sites! Seems they fill up the RV sites, while the tent sites were empty.
The set up for the pull throughs have the doors facing one another. Our picnic table is 4 feet from our neighbors. The neighbors we had left their two dogs tied to a rope out side so each time I brought my dog out they all barked at each other. Also we didn't want to sit outside do to how close we all were. The gentleman who checked me in was nice no problem with Rose. Maybe she's gone?
My family stayed a night here on our way to Yellowstone. It’s a small, but lovely place. We were tent camping and had a nice shaded site. My kids enjoyed the playground and the ping pong table. We met Rose and thought she was nice.
This was a pit stop for my family and I. I couldn't drive through the night so we pulled in late here and slept in one of the cabins (they only have two). Cabins were nice on the inside (if you stayed at a KOA before it's their usual cabins. 1 bunk bed and a queen bed. bring your own linens and quilts or sleeping bags). Lots of areas for RVs. And BBQs Nice set up for water and other connection. Lovely lady was there to help out with whatever I needed as we getting ready to leave for home. A few eye sores were that construction was happening near the KOA building on their property (probably unavoidable and had to happen), the bathrooms/showers are not as nice as other KOAs I've stayed at but its decent and if you are in an RV that has a bathroom then no problem. I also noticed a lot of fencing around the cabins were broken. They have cute squirrels that are not afraid to get food from your campsite. They have a decent playground for kids to play on and it's fun to watch the horses on the other property.
One night stay on our four month trip to Alaska. Got a pull through site - the layout of this KOA is very nice. Basically, driver sides face each other so you don't have to sit at your picnic table and smell the sewer from your neighbor. Large and well stocked store, coffee, soft ice cream (suggest you mix it with some blueberry slushy), large laundry, day room with chairs/couch/movies and clean bathrooms. This KOA was established in 1960 but you couldn't tell it. Everything is very modern. We didn't use the wifi but you are given an access code for each electronic device you intend to use on the internet. They also offer propane and have gas pumps but we didn't see any diesel. Very friendly staff
