Customer Reviews
Wonderful weekend stay away from the city, yet close enough to different amenities. Cabins are very nice and cozy. Bathrooms are clean, water pressure and temperature are good as well. No running water in most cabins. Only con about cabin is not having any hooks to hang jackets/towels in the winter time. Make sure you don't forget linens for your bed/s. Campground is still under final construction stages. Hopefully by summer 2025 everything will be open and we'll enjoy everything. Also, too many people use the 2 co-ed bathrooms by cabin 10. A men's bathroom should be added by this section to avoid long lines. The women's bathroom is big enough to fit many. Blue Mountain Ski resort is about 30 minutes away as well as big boulder/jackfrost. We can't wait to be back to Pocono Camp & Glamp!
Highly recommend! I threw my son’s 1st birthday here, what a hidden gem! Perfect for any local or visitor to Jim Thorpe throwing a bday party, shower, family reunion ect. There’s plenty of room! We had 40 people and kids all over the place and still had room to spare. The place was spotless with a wide open concept. New tables throughout and plenty of seating. The view and back deck are gorgeous as well. All the staff is friendly and helpful too. The cabin sites are also perfect for a family/friend reunion. We’ll be back 100%. Thank you Pocono Camp & Glamp looking forward to more family memories here.
It was a wonderful trip! The only bad part was losing access to the toilet at night in the cabin but other than that it was great!! We can’t wait to see how the rest of the place turns out with the future plans! Cabins were cute and cozy, view was amazing. Definitely planning another family/friend trip here.
We rented a cabin for a quick getaway in December. The cabin and bath house were super clean and heated. The camp site was spacious and the camp ground was very peaceful. Would definitely come again for a winter get away.
Pros: Private Cabin. mini fridge + freezer. Personal Fire pit! Brand new cabins. Brand new clean bath houses. Cons: The Mens bathhouse was a significant distance from our cabin. Not easily walkable. This site needs more bath houses. Note: Dont forget to bring your own bedding/pillows/blankets A lovely last minute getaway for myself and my boyfriend to celebrate the end of Summer / Labor Day weekend! We rented a small cabin with a queen bed. There was no AC/Heat, but there was a ceiling fan, and we got lucky with the cooler temperatures at night. We hiked locally at Hawk Falls, roasted chicken, asparagus, corn, and onions on the camp fire, hung out in our hammocks, and had a relaxing time.
We loved it! Just stayed for Mother’s Day weekend. Cabin is heated and was warm when we arrived which felt good since it was 55 and raining. Next day was beautiful and we explored both the campground and some local sites. Just the right amount of off the grid and creature comforts. The staff was very friendly and the grounds, bath house and sites were all well maintained. Definitely a spot we will visit again!
I had my bachelorette party at Pocono Camp and Glamp this past weekend and we had such a great time! We rented out all of Section C (4 cabins) for 16 people. The cabins were bigger than expected and the porches were perfect for our rainy morning. There was plenty of space for parking between cabins (we fit 7 cars with no issue). The restrooms were very clean and the street lights were great for night time restroom runs. Management was helpful with answering questions prior to arrival and Joe made sure to check in with us to make sure everything was going well once we got there. I would definitely recommend and will be returning!
This place, wow! What a beautiful place we found. We spent one night but plan on returning with others. Cabins and bathrooms were spotless. Coffee maker, microwave, and mini fridge were a great necessity. Balls and equipment at the basketball, volleyball, and pickleball courts were awesome. I felt like a kid again at summer camp, can’t wait to return!
