It’s a beautiful national park. Main attraction of the park is northern elephant seals. Best time to see them up close is at drakes beach, between last week of December till march first week. Also, you can see them year around from distance at elephant seals overlook point (binoculars recommended). You can spot elk, coyotes on the way to drakes beach too.
Nature lovers paradise! We enjoyed our time here at the Point Reyes National Seashore. Lots of stunning views with historical significance, wildlife and nature! It’s quite a drive and walk, but it’s so worth it! This place in California is where you can see a lot of beautiful views starting from the Cypress Tree Tunnel, the Point Reyes Lighthouse, the beaches, elephant seals, historic ranches, rolling hills and wildlife viewing up close and personal! Plenty of photos opportunities and natural beauty to explore and experience! Absolutely highly recommended 💯⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Scenic view of the bay, one of the best seashore views you can see. This place has its own history and is now well maintained. It’s pretty hard to find parking for this spot, the light house is a short 10 min trail down with 300+ steps. This peak fogs up most of the time especially on winters so plan along with weather forecast. Idyllic views and good place to capture some memorable pictures as you won’t see anything like it anywhere else
Wow, what a spot. Lighthouse, elephant seals, beach hiking, bird watching, huge wave watching, and more. Spent the day going from spot to spot, enjoyed it all (Lighthouse, North Beach, South Beach and Drakes Beach). Get there by 10 for a spot in the parking lot, and not too many people. By the time we were done at the lighthouse, it was packed with cars parked down the road.
Nature at her best!! Pristine majestic coastal cliffs, beaches and panoramic views with rich biodiversity. Elephant seals, Tule Elks and cattle ranches!!
