Customer Reviews
Let me start off by saying I'm 44 years old. I would come here every summer for a week from the age of 10 til 18. We only stopped coming when I left for the military. My wife came here as a kid for many years as well. Summer of 2024.... my wife and I took our kids here. It was their first time. We went with my in-laws and other family. We rented 2 camps side by side. It was just as I remembered. Obviously, it was a lot nicer and a lot smaller than I remembered. We all had a great time. We spent a week, and it brought back a ton of memories. The staff at the check-in place was beyond nice and helpful. Finding the camp was very easy, and it was spotless upon arrival. We had a lake front camp, and it was private beach access. Beautiful view. We already booked a week for this July. I am very much looking forward to going back.
Katie and the guest team were fantastic, super friendly and accommodating will definitely recommend based a lot on our experience with the staff! Everyone riding around doing their work was so friendly and nice, place was relaxing off-season and clean and easy to get around. Great family spot will be back!
I have been going up with my family since 2006 and my grandparents since 1984. We have loved it every summer we have been there. The games are still great, the food at the restaurant is good and the cabins are a little cozy but we love it. We always get three cabins right next to each other on the lake and we have a blast the whole week. I want to shout out Kristin, one of the counselors, who made our experience with all the games so fun! She made our week!
We have been camping here for 7 years, but it is going downhill. If access to the Internet is important to you, after all it is 2024, Avoid this place at all costs. This year we couldn't get WiFi at our campsite, and we had never had a problem in the past. In addition, when we complained about it they informed us that Internet access was not guaranteed and we should go to the square to get Internet. While at the square it was good only when nobody was there, then it cut out as people arrived. To add insult to injury they now use an app and all activities are on it, but you can't get to it! It is clear that Internet demand has gone up and Point Sebago has spent no money upgrading in this area. We also notices they were short staffed as well. When you pay top prices to go there you should be able to get Internet. We won't be back!
We have been coming to Sebago for the past 25 years and not much has changed . We started with a tent, then a Pop-up and then a cabin on the lagoon. The cabins have been the same with no improvement. The camp store is pretty much stocked although pricey. Common items were not available, ie; cork screw even though wine is being sold, no coffee filters or even a fire starter and the fire wood is usually wet. The entertainment was satisfactory, but not as good as the entertainment put on by the staff. I miss the kids camp and child care. Overall my family enjoyed our stay, but the cost of staying there is becoming prohibitive for a lot of families
