We stayed a month Aug/Sept 2023 and had a great stay. Both Mickey and Michael (father & son) run the campground and are super nice folks. Mostly long term contractors staying here. We have a 45 ft motorcoach and had no problems navigating. Large sites, 50/30/20 amp power (even in the heat of a SC summer voltage stayed strong), well water (tastes fine), and sewer. You must have a fully self-contained RV to stay here - no public restrooms/shower, etc. All the sites are limestone and level. They are pet-friendly - just do the right thing and clean-up after your pet. Across the road is Rocky Creek Sporting Clays. Clay shooting is the closest thing to actual field shooting of all shotgun sports. Golf with a shotgun. During our stay a large tournament was taking place so lots of shooting was going on. We were warned in advance of our stay and honestly, we were never bothered. Safety is Job#1 in clay shooting. Bottom line, if considering a stay, get in contact with Mickey or Michael as we can recommend staying at Pond View Campground just south of Richburg.

I made a reservation with Oak Grove Plantation. They gave my spot to someone else "who needed it". No notice to me, no call, no nothing. Just gave my spot to someone else. Mickey told me "they needed it". Baffling. Why do they take reservations if they will cancel it with no thought and no notice to you? They could have, at a minimum, contacted me. Useless. Save yourself the trouble, no integrity there.

We've stayed at a lot of campgrounds and this one is definitely one of our favorites. The prices are more than reasonable and the property is beautiful. It's the perfect place to be if you like to be in the country. We enjoyed visiting with all of our neighbors and the property owners are wonderful people who take care of their residents. We'll definitely stay here again.

This is a great place to stay I was a resident for several months. The campground is very clean quiet and reasonably priced. Mickey is a great guy and runs a first class place. (Keep in mind they are located adjacent to one of the premier sporting clay ranges in the South. If the sound of gunfire upsets you then this might not be the place for you)

We stayed at oak grove for most of 2017 and loved it! The owners are some of the nicest people you will ever meet and they go out of their way to be accommodating and welcoming. The sites are not stacked on top of each other like some camp grounds and the beautiful country setting is relaxing and peaceful. We recommend Oak Grove Plantation Campground to everyone we know working and staying in the area and will definitely stay there again next time we are in town!
