Trailhead to the lake is here. Forest service roads just past the park. Areas to tie up the horses, or have them penned are available. Watering trough available. 2 bathrooms as well, but bring TP as it isn't always stocked.

The road is a little rough, but it's worth the drive. Great place to boondock. And check out the dam.
