Ponderosa Campground

This place was awesome. The staff and owners were very nice and we were treated like family. This was a spur of the moment trip and we arrived Sunday, August 25th. I called several places beforehand to ask if they were pet friendly and this is the only place that would accommodate us. The cabin we rented was extremely clean and the campground was well kept. The cabin, much to my surprise even had a bathroom. I could not have asked for better accommodations and we will most certainly be returning soon. Thank you to the staff for an amazing over night stay!

My husband and I haven't camped in over 15 years so we decided to take two of our grandsons on a camping adventure. As a child, my parents always vacationed at the Jersey shore so I wanted to relive some of those memories. The Ponderosa Campground was an absolute perfect spot to do that! The location of the campground was an easy drive to Wildwood Crest and Cape May (where we went deep sea fishing). We stayed in a lovely RV that had all the amenities we needed to be comfortable. The campground staff were extremely pleasant and helpful and the grounds were immaculately groomed. I would highly recommend the Ponderosa Campground to families that want to get back into nature and away from the "hustle and bustle" of everyday life.

Took my kids on a mini end of summer trip and this place was perfect 👍 the kiddos loved it, they didn’t want to leave the pool, even the baby loved it, we all had a great time checking out the animals at the farm, we even stopped and played some basketball. Their fire pits and wood were perfect for our s’mores too! Every member of the staff was so friendly. I would highly recommend! Sincerely a very happy mom.

Had another great weekend trip this year for all of the Fall and Halloween festivities! Ponderosa is the best with the nicest staff! Our family enjoys the Deluxe Cabin! Simple, clean, & comfortable "glamping"! Property is great and farm is beautiful!

We love camping at Ponderosa! We have come with our children, on our own and most recently with our grandchildren. The accomodations are wonderful - clean and everything you need. The location is just right. We travel with ease between Avalon and Cape May. The Cape May Zoo is literally only minutes away. It was great to take our grandchildren (ages 3 and 5) to but they enjoyed the onsite "farm" just as much! Can't wait to come back!
