What a place! Tucked away on the side of Pittsfield State Forest and Balance Rock State Park, this incredible campground has beautiful grounds, great access to all types of recreational trails and is quietly hidden away off the beaten track. Yet, it's still close enough to Rt 7 and shops to get supplies at. Yes, there is a small junk yard up the road but you don't see it from the property and it does not interfere with the natural beauty of the location. I would definitely recommend checking it out!
Love this little spot been renting seasonal gear for years. My family used to rent back there’s also great prices the whole season I think it’s like $1800 to $2000 and that includes electricity and water. Great location for Willer friendly because there’s a nice trail to ride four wheelers all of them they’re great place great fishing awesome scenery. Gotta love the Berkshires
I've lived in the Berkshires for 19 years and just discovered this gem. Beautiful, clear, spring fed ponds greet you near the entrance, easy access to Balance Rock State Park and Pittsfield State Forest for hiking, biking, snowshoeing and XC skiing. It's small and rustic but they are currently working on it and hope to return it to its former exquisiteness!
went to visit a friend who camps seasonally- had a great time people are close together but respect eachothers space and noise levels are kept to reasonable amounts of noise without having to be Unreasonably quiet- over all spent the night and had a wonderful time and thoroughly enjoyed the environment and my time there-
Does anyone live here and take care of the dog outside of the houses? Any info lmk just making sure the dog is okay!!??
