My kid was bullied multiple times and there was never really any consequences for the bully. The counselors wasn’t doing their job and letting me know what was happening with me kid getting bullied until my kid started defending himself. Then they tried to make him out to be the problem when my kid doesn’t mess with anyone. Definitely won’t have my son return unless some serious changes are made.

As of August 26, 2021 this camp needs a huge upgrade. A huge upgrade of who they hire for staff and huge update with policy. Plus they also need more materials to use at the camp (ex. Board games, sports equipment). The children that misbehave frequently don’t face any consequences for their actions at camp. The boys bathroom doesn’t have running water for the faucets. The entire camp looks like it hasn’t been updated in a long time. I’ve been here in 2014 and it looks the same. There has been any progress at all. I wouldn’t recommend working at camp ponkapoag or sending your children here. Ponky is ghetto

It's so great to have a place like this so near Boston and so affordable. Fantastic cabins in the woods and trails around the pond.
