Meh, it was okay. Lots of long-term campers. Some really nice rvs, others not so nice. We parked in a pull-through on grass, which really needed mowing. To be fair, it's been rainy here, so maybe they just haven't gotten around to mow it in a while. We had water and electricity. There is a dump station, bathrooms, and showers, but no laundry facilities. When I made the phone reservation, Amy was very nice. We came and went without seeing anyone in the office. The grounds are big. They also sell, repair, and store rvs.
Traveling with my 2 young children and a full day of driving I called ahead letting them know I would be 3 hours late from when they close. They were completely understanding and made accommodations for someone to be at the entrance in the middle of the night upon my arrival. Fantastic service and not to mention a great park. Quiet, clean grassy spots and plenty of open space for the kids to play.
A great place to RV or CAMP... 5th Wheel, pop ops, tents. Clean amenities and showers. A community area that has events like bingo and karaoke on select nights. Host your reunion here. Definitely check out the blacksmith shop. Lots of history throughout this 80-acre get away. Family owned and operated. Hook-ups for most of your needs. They also service and sell campers. Love it here.
Great medium size country setting campground. Lots of permanent campers with creative spots. There is a creek, a pond, lots of shaded areas with trees, and several large open grassy fields. They have a flea market 2x a year that brings out lots of tools, farm equipment, yard ornaments, handmade goods, and much more!
Believe the reviews when they say you are in the middle of a corn field ! We actually loved this spot for the night. We had been stuck in our previous site with hitch issues, so arriving here after a long day of travel was just what we needed. We arrived after hours, but that was not an issue. We were able to find our spot just fine, and thankfully we stay at a time that was not too busy. We had 50 amp hook up + water. NO sewer, but we did use the dump station prior to leaving. Our site was pull through, a little unlevel (but fine) and it was all grass. Cell service was low for us, but our Starlink worked. It was beautiful at night due to zero light pollution.
