We stayed in Yurt #2 in July for two nights. We had plenty of room for three adults with the double bunk and fold down day bed. The table served as our food storage and prepping area. We had an 8 to 10 person picnic table outside we used for our main eating area and sat out on the deck as well. There is a cable bridge that stretches across the river that leads you over to some scenic hiking trails that wind through the mountainside, meadows and along the river. We enjoyed sitting around the campfire gazing up at the night time sky filled with stars while enjoying our eats & drinks. The roar of the river was calming & relaxing at bedtime and put you to sleep.

Stayed in Yurt #4. It was a little pricey at $140 a night. However the place was amazing. Plenty of room for our group of 11. Big deck overlooking the popo agie river. There was a fire ban (charcoal and wood) you cannot cook in the yurt. So remember to bring a propane grill. My only complaint would be that the smell of the nearby bathrooms was a nuance. Overall it was an awesome place to take the family. I would definitely return.

Absolutely gorgeous campground. Amazing views. Close to Lander. The roads within the campground are rather narrow, and it would be difficult to maneuver a trailer longer than 27ft. Backing into spaces and turning around is an added difficulty. Overall great place. Will return.

I can’t say enough great things about this amazing hidden gem!! Site 23 was situated a little ways from our parking spot.To the left across a small bridge. It was right next to the creek, which made a pleasant noise. Augie was our camp host and was incredibly friendly and generous with his time. There’s free firewood, only asking for donations. Look forward to staying here in the future.

We loved the two mile Nature Hike! Lots of wild flowers and a breath taking rushing river. The yurts in the camping area also look like a lot of fun!

Great setting right next to the river for some natural white noise while sleeping. Camp sites are really close together and there’s not much room for more than 1 tent and 1 car. Some sites you can squeeze two vehicles. Super close to town and all the climbing nearby. Wonderful home base to lander and the wind river range.
