I've been going to this campground for years! Our camp host, Peggy, was amazing as always! This year, the mosquitos were horrible! Never have I ever had to put on spray as soon as I left my vehicle. The swim area is great! The Rangers are always helpful and kind. The dump station was clean, and I still need a trash can there, I think. Makes it easier to dispose of gloves or small trash. The only complaint I have is that the fore rings are too close to trailers. I feel like they should be off the cement pad. With most trailers having slide outs and awnings, red hots can pop and get on them. Bathrooms were clean, and showers were decent. Time for different shower heads, half of the one I used was clogged up. Volleyball court with sand would be nice and same with horseshoes. Kids love the playgrounds and the hills for their bikes.

This Campground is VERY hilly. There didn't seem to be a lot of flat sites which can be an issue. I'd be nervous tent camping here if there was rain in the Forcast bc of the high amd low grounds. Its also quite difficult for people with limited mobility. The beach is really nice and clean, but a decent hike from the campsites and again, at the bottom of a large hill. They also quite desperately need to spray for mosquitoes. Of course, you expect a number of bugs while camping, since you're outside, BUT this was INSANE. Our family went through numerous CANS of bugspray and still got eaten alive. We have never been attacked with bugs this bad while camping. Be prepared.

This campground was cleaner and better maintained than I thought I would be. The camp host was friendly and helpful with a variety of activities available to try. Absolutely the softest ground I have pitched a tent on this year.

Very nice, clean state campground! Beautiful, clean lake to swim (water felt amazing), showers are very private with great temps and water pressure, nice path to walk, nice fire pits and picnic tables at every spot. Would stay again if back in that area!

This is a decent little park. Lots of different types of sites from small for tent camping and bigger more level sites for your camper. The campground is starting to enforce the 3pm check in time which means you can't go onto your site until 3 or later. Which has not been enforced for, well I can't even remember the last time I went to a state park and was allowed to check in and go to our campsite unless they' knew it wasn't vacant yet. So we had to wait even though our site was vacant. It was stated the rule was being enforced so that sites could be maintained but our site probably needs to be mowed in my opinion. Also there were 5 piles of dog poo not cleaned up (not that the staff should have to buy neither should the next campers), there was trash all over our campsite too. But the park itself is nice an it has a good playground for the kids and a nice beach area to go along with it.
