Recommend for sunset! They have several alcoves on the pier (ideal for couples) and bench seating if needed. We were fortunate to see a Sea Lion laying on the structure and two more playing in the water. They even barked! There are higher viewpoints requiring stairs. Wheelchair accessible on the pier. Picnic table. Parking lot connected to the pier. Definitely recommend!

We came up for the day because we heard how beautiful this place is. We were not disappointed! The perfect place to escape the city for the day, it's only about 45 minutes out of Vancouver and has scenic views of Howe Sound. The Provincial Park is also a famous dive site and there are special diving facilities on site. The camping area is small but most sites are ocean front and only $23 a night. You can show up for a first come first serve site or it's advisable to book online! If you want to know more, check out our video review here: https://youtu.be/n5zcCX6TaMU?si=EpZPAlaTZqMI5vbY

This beachside park offers great views, boat launch, free parking, beach, pier with viewing areas. I have enjoyed having family and friends there to BBQ and sit at one of the many picnic tables. Great place to enjoy wildlife and nature while relaxing after a long drive. I can say the restrooms were ok but the parking and picnic areas fill up on nice days.
