This was a nearly perfect experience save for one minor, yet jarring issue at the end! Getting there was easy, all the cabins are not too far off a main road. Each cabin comes with its own unique name and parking spot. They are all adequately spaced out so privacy is not a concern. We found the cabin to be very tidy and clean, with well laid out instructions and tips for various things inside. The environment has suitable space for 2 so more than that would be a tight squeeze. Though the kitchen and bathroom are on the small size, they come equipped with many items such as bowls, utensils, soap, towels, and a heater. However, it would have been nice to see a hair dryer be made available. The extra cost for the campfire made for a more fun experience, especially if you spring for a cabin with a better view. The wood provided is said to last a few hours and ours lasted about as long, though you can purchase more for an added cost. Booking with a discount code definitely offers the best value. I happened to book via a Black Friday discount for 30% off, but they seem to always have codes floating around, especially through emails, so its best to get on their email list. As for what happened at the end? With a little over 30 minutes before the official check out time, housekeeping banged on our door while we were in the middle of getting dressed. We were literally yelling for them to not open the door and that we were still inside the cabin! I don't think this is a common occurrence, but it did happen so it left a bit of a stain on an otherwise great trip.

Had a wonderful experience staying at Postcard Cabins in Big Bear. Had no issues finding the cabin and getting inside. Loved looking out the big window at the views of the pine trees and mountains. The cabin had all the essentials, including cooking utensils, pots/pans, bowls, plates, a/c, heater, etc. Only thing missing was a microwave. I brought my dog and they even had doggy treats for him. I also liked the fact that it wasn't totally secluded, which was nice because it felt safer being surrounded by other houses and cabins. We even had internet access and cell phone service while we were there. So that was a relief as well. There are walking trails surrounding the cabins and also some restaurants and stores. We had breakfast at Old Country Coffee Shop, which was only a 5 minute drive. Overall, it was a relaxing and peaceful stay. Would highly recommend and come back another time!

My stay at Getaway Big Bear in Running Springs was truly a magnificent escape from the city. I and team spent two nights in a cozy cabin that was both charming and well-designed to blend with nature. Surrounded by beautiful pine trees, the setting provided such a serene and peaceful atmosphere. I loved waking up to the sounds of birds and enjoying my morning coffee while watching the sun filter through the trees. The cabin was equipped with all the essentials, and the large window next to the bed made it feel like I was right in the middle of the forest. The fire pit was a perfect touch for stargazing and keeping warm in the cool mountain air. No signal here, disconnect for a while, sounds good. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a peaceful and rejuvenating getaway!

The view from the room was beautiful. The area was quiet and the air was fresh. However, the morning sun came through the window right by the bed. It was very hot and bright, so I couldn't sleep in the morning and had to wake up early. The house was called Caroline.
