I'm typing this as we are driving home. We just checked out and I CANNOT wait to come back. The cabin includes everything you need. We cooked breakfast and dinner the 2 days we were here and we went to the Early Mountain Vineyard a 10 minute drive from the camp. It was honestly a beautiful experience. Literally disregard the negative reviews! We had no ants or bugs in our cabin. Our AC and heater unit was clean. Everything is clean! Our dog also loved it here. The fire pit was amazing both nights. We can't wait to come back! Or possibly to a different location!
I was initially a little concerned after reading some negative reviews about these cabins and considering the relatively high price, but after experiencing one of our best getaways, I highly recommend this place to others. Check-in was seamless, and upon opening the door, there was no hint of a smoke smell as some reviewers had mentioned. Instead, the cabins exuded a fresh, pleasant scent. The attention to detail was immediately apparent, with a thoughtful handwritten note welcoming us and making us feel at home. The cabins were well-stocked with everything we needed for our stay, and the fully equipped kitchen even had salt and pepper, which may seem like small details, but they made a big difference. Everything was compact, but it suited our needs perfectly, and as a couple, we found it to be amazing. The outdoor area was simply beautiful, especially when the lights were on. We enjoyed cooking pumpkin pancakes, having a barbecue at night, and grilling some fresh veggies. The peaceful surroundings and the quiet atmosphere allowed us to take a break from the hustle and bustle of work and school, and we found solace in being surrounded by trees and the sounds of birds..
support team helped me with a missing scarf from a cabin. incredibly speedy and resourceful team. Needs reminding and checking back in with them as they use a third party for Lost and Found but nonetheless they accommodated across platforms. Great location and quiet ! Safe and beautiful calm views. Grocery not too far of a drive away. Gas station just down the road. Enjoy!
Our cabin was unfortunately infested with roaches (in the bathroom and in the sink). Upon texting the help number we were relocated to another cabin which I was very grateful for! However, this cabin smelled uniquely of must and/or cigarette smoke. The next day, my husband stepped on a small shard of glass, which was not from us because we didn’t bring anything glass. When we tried to use the burners to make pancakes, we could barely get them cooked - it seemed like they weren’t quite working right. Lastly, the curtains had stains and seemed to be dirty. For what we paid, we were significantly disappointed in our stay. **EDIT in response to Postcard’s reply: I have contacted the Postcard team twice try tying to remedy this situation. This is the response I received: “Thank you for following up. We truly value every piece of input as it helps us enhance our guest experience. I’ve shared it with the team, and we’ll keep it in mind as we continue to refine our offerings. Thanks again for taking the time to connect with us.” From this, it sounds like Postcard isn’t willing to remedy the situation at all.
It's a cute cabin and they give you lots of cute amenities but the heater quit working several times on us and its hard to reset and then the power went out early in the morning, I realize that it's not there fault but when we woke up and finally open the curtain we found out the window had been open all night. It was freezing!
