Had such a great getaway! Stayed here over Christmas with our dogs and it was so much fun. Definitely planning another trip soon to either this location or another location close by. All of the tiny details and touches they have really made this trip incredible! (One slight thing to note is the cabins are lined with cedar- which is gorgeous but did irritate my allergies a bit. If you have sensitivities to allergies bringing medicine just incase would be helpful).

My friends and I have stayed at getaway many times in multiple locations. It was always beautiful and peaceful rest. But unfortunately I was very disappointed and upset with the customer service. I had a reservation for this weekend but unfortunately got very sick. I notified them two days before my booking date asking to reschedule. I understand they have a 72 hour cancellation policy, but I was not asking to cancel, I was just asking to change the dates due to an unexpected illness. The upsetting part is that they didn't try to show any flexibility, although I was happy to take any other open weekend. I can see they are not sold out for this weekend, and I honestly explained my reasoning of not coming. Like I said, I had many great weekends in the cabins, and was planning to spend most of my winter holidays there. But I believe that the attitude and understanding is the main key for returning customers. It's not even about the money or the policy. Just showing some flexibility would be appreciated

We stayed at Len cabin and it was cozy/cute. The place was a little tight but of course it’s a tiny house. My biggest complaint was that the water smelled like rotten eggs! Please fix this. The whole cabin smelled every time we turned on the water and it really turned us off. The drive was only about an hour which isn’t bad but it was hard to find the cabin at first. There were so many different ways to go. We were guided by someone who worked there as she was heading out in her car so that was kind. Other than that we had a decent stay, made dinner on the grill outside and roasted marshmallows for s’mores at night.

My experience with Getaway Cabins earlier this year was just incredible. So when I was thinking of a Christmas gift for my husband, I immediately thought of rebooking our same anniversary trip for 2025. When I went to their site to book (now Postcard Cabins) it was DOUBLE what I spent last year...for the exact same dates (not a weekend either. Those prices were TRIPLE!). What the hell is going on over there? The company gets bought out by Marriott and they just decide to price hike everything? Sucks! Marriott is evidently greedy. And from the recent reviews, looks like they lack the attention and care that was the staple of Getaway. Another great brand lost to the commercial giants that just want to cut corners and price gouge their patrons. So sad.

Nice, cozy getaway. Great use of the space. They had a cute note and a nice treat for my puppy. I'm not a fan of tight spaces and was a little concerned when we pulled up, but the high ceiling and all the windows along with the great layout made it cozy & comfy. We did have a little trouble finding our cabin, maybe better markings? Or maybe I missed something. Either way, I highly recommend these lovely little boxes!
