Customer Reviews
Very busy campground, neighbors were respectful, quiet hours were observed. The beautiful Woodchute trail connects to the campground. Five star hosts Rick and Kris were welcoming and willing to share their knowledge about multiple options for exploration in the area.
A great little place to camp. Has electric hook ups and a bathroom. It is 18.00. Night but that's not horrible. You can reserve spots which I highly recommend, they have 4 spots that are first come first serve but those go very quick. Camp host is awesome as well.
Great location with 2 loops. 1 loop is more developed than other but both have paved roads and sites and trash service. Camp hosts were friendly, informative and professional but no guarantee you will get the same hosts due to nature of position. Camp neighbors were not terribly noisy or nosey. Terrain was rolling with just enough trees for shade where you want it...but some opportunities for periodic solar. If you want the pit toilets to smell better, you MUST CLOSE THE SEAT LID AND THE DOOR...it's simple science so resist the urge to ventilate (it doesn't help). It rained every afternoon (and 1 night) but that was typical for the area during Monsoon season. Please don't F this place up...leave it better than you found it.
This is my second time camping here. Both camping experiences were very enjoyable. A nice drive to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. Some afternoon rain.
What a beautiful campground! Campsites are good enough apart and the pines all around keep it cool. Hikes are literally within walking distance. Highly recommend
