Patosi is a wonderful place to camp with the two campgrounds divided by South Willow Creek. I’ve camped there for many years and it does not disappoint. With very nice camp sites, fire rings, pump well water and plenty of pit toilets. Trails and hiking, plus the hot springs. The hot springs are over a mile easy hike and seats 6 people easy. Not overly warm so don’t expect hot tub temperatures.
Great campground no internet so have map downloaded . Pit restrooms, lots of firewood available if willing to chop. Road is pretty rough for car . To get to the hot spring go to Cooper family bridge Southeast of loop 1. From bridge go left along road til road ends. Trail starts at end of road. Hot spring is about 2000 steps from bridge. Will pass Mansion about half way. You will come to a large rock 3 meter tall on left a trail, from rock go 200 paces and spring will be on left , warm water but not hot.
Lovely little hot spring with a fence surrounding it. Just about a quarter mile hike from the parking lot/campground. The water itself isn't incredibly hot, so be prepared with towels and dry clothes when visiting in the winter/spring. Snowed 6 inches overnight on 05/22/21... classic. :)
Oh man this one is great! We LOVED the natural hot springs that are a quick little trek from the campground. A MUST see
Lots of Razor rider trails, beautiful creek, hot spring with in walk distance of 1 miles.
Nice developed campground with minimal maintenance/cleaning. Despite having signs saying there is limited cleaning of the outhouses, they were in a decent state. I was glad to have my own toilet paper though. A bit off the beaten path yet in true Montana fashion still used moderately highly.
Nice, quiet campground (minus water noise) . Deffinitely not much room if you were pulling a trailer. Lots of moose in the area. Good size spots for tents or small campers.
