My wife and I had an unexpected situation and ended up selling our RV. We needed to find a place to stay while attending an event in Independence. Hotels were crazy expensive. We were ready to give up when we discovered that PCH had cabins for rent. Our cabin, "The Kit", was perfect. Comfortable bed, nice hot water shower, fully stocked kitchen, and a fold out bed/couch if needed. It was spic and span and couldn't have been more comfortable. The owners are super friendly and helpful. The only tiny issue I had was the electronic door locks. It's a great idea for the owners, but took me a few tries to get it to unlock. But that's definitely a "first world problem". Value for money I wholeheartedly recommend the cabins at Powell's Creekside Haven.
I’m late on writing my review. We stayed here while my husband was working at the Holden plant because it was close by. We absolutely loved it here! The owners are so sweet and my toddler loved playing with all their kids and grandkids. The volleyball/sandpit area was a hit for us! Great communication, great price, great WiFi, great laundry/bathroom area, great creek and walking trail. You can tell they are always looking for ways to improve and I think they’re doing great! We will be staying here again if we come back through Missouri.

We stayed at Powell’s Creekside for 2 weeks while my husband was attending a training. A great experience! Our cabin was very clean and well cared for. Marjorie and the whole family went out of their way to make us feel at home and comfortable , even bringing us extra blankets on an extra chilly night. Very family friendly. My kids made new friends and enjoyed playing in the woods and pond. Would definitely stay again!
