Prestige Aberdeen Lodge Kamloops

Got to the dated room to find no toilet paper. I went down to the front desk just to be told there is toilet paper So I thought maybe I missed it somehow.. maybe after 50 years of experience with the paper beside the toilet I might have missed it but no there's none so I went back down and told him there was none ..and showed him a picture of the empty 2 roll holders .. so like giving up a new born child he gave me some ... Do better!

Maintance could be a bit better. My room was missing its closet door, the bathroom fan was not working and a picture was missing from the wall. In the stairwell area on the opposite end of the hotel from the Front Desk needs to be better cleaned and cleared of litter. Staff were great to deal with. The room was clean and I appricated the daily housekeeping. If the system would allow I would give this place a 3.5 out of 5. Only due to the general maintance issues that is an easy fix. The internet needs an upgrade as well.

The staff were friendly, helpful, and went above and beyond. It's no 5* resort but for what it is it is more than adequate. I'd stay there again without a second thought.

Very clean comfortable rooms The mattresses are new - firm White linen bed covers - clean Plenty of plug ins near bed for sleep Apnea equipment Quiet - the front staff and the room service are most gracious, polite & helpful - fresh coffee brewed decaf and caffeinated in canisters in lobby kitchen with real cream with a basket of mandarin oranges & apples to welcome all guests - only complaint is the public kitchen area furniture needs upgrading and should have 4 trolleys on hand - I’m definitely coming back : nice complimentary cold breakfast foods incl eggs - toaster on hand - great coffee in the carafes (not cheap acidic ) - was told of the 25 percent reduction on any meals in their premiere hotel which is across the parking lot (we can use the premiere hotel’s pool & hot tub)

Very friendly easy going staff great parking which was important t to me. Spent 4 days here all was good
