It honestly breaks my heart to see so many negative reviews on this campground. We have stayed here and could not be more happy or grateful. We have had 0 issues with anyone in management. On the contrary we have had nothing but positive interactions with all of them! This campground is more prestigious and therefore has very simple rules in which you are expected to follow. Which in my opinion they should have, because those rules are what keep this campground beautiful, fun, family oriented and safe. Their rules are very simple and SHOULD be easy for anyone to abide by. We are so grateful to have gotten to stay here. The people in management have treated us with kindness and respect from the moment we initially spoke to them on the phone. I would absolutely recommend this campground if you are looking for Somewhere, clean, safe, friendly, and full of accommodative amenities. We have LOVED our time here!!!!

We checked into a different RV Park this summer, and it had deteriorated. Our electric connection was bad. We called Pride to see if they could accommodate us, and they said they could. We spoke to Lindsay when we arrived, and we were so impressed with the park, that we purchased a membership and decided to stay for the summer months. The facilities are well maintained, and there are plenty of activities to participate in. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The cafe on site is convenient and well run. We enjoyed their breakfasts quite often, and had dinner there several times. The food is simple, prepared properly and delicious. We will be back next summer and highly recommend Pride.

Worst case of customer service we have experienced. Came to beautiful Maggie Valley to meet with clients and visit family. There are a lot of “rules” and a man who enforces by chasing people down and yelling at them. Not just us. Rude to the point of harassment. Stay being in the winter and freezing temperatures (lowest was 9degreesF.) Skirt we purchased was against the rules. There was plenty of room but we had to park 2nd vehicle on the other side of the park. The park was maybe 1/2 full at the most of our 3 week stay. Understandable if the park was crowded and it wasn’t below freezing and at some points snowing. Client who came also to meet with us was yelled at while trying to figure out how to get out of park for driving against the arrows. Day 3 of 3 weeks we after being yelled at and watching him yell at others asked for the remaining time to be refunded and was told we could leave but we would not receive our money back once again now being talked to very rudely talked to by office manager. The last time the day before departing my truck is parked and running while I load up laundry and items for work. Was yelled at again for blocking the road. I’m right there and the truck is running. No one else in sight but other guests who watched the confrontation. Here I will have to say we are full time travelers and have stayed in parks all across our beautiful country. Never have we ever had a problem as we were always treated well. And yes, we ARE rule followers. I do not recommend this business if you want to have a calm and enjoyable stay. You won’t get that here.

I have a brand new camper, my job is right next to this place and it looks kid friendly so I thought it was perfect. We had our spot ready and assigned to us and my daughter was so excited! I switched her school to the one nearby and went through all this trouble but suddenly they changed their minds and couldn’t give me a good reason why and they wouldn’t take my payment. They told me to go somewhere else even though their sign says they are accepting people displaced after the hurricane. Had to turn the camper around and take it back to its temporary spot. Very disappointed and confused. The woman at the window was very rude and not helpful. Edit: Hi I see your reply and I wanted to add that I did come with two valid cards. I came in person with my brother with a valid bank card and was still turned away. He has a valid bank card and offered to keep it on file indefinitely. I have a visa and yes mine is through cash app but I’ve used it for years and it has never ONCE been rejected by anybody until you people. It is legitimate. That’s where I receive all my paychecks and that’s how I’ve paid for my place to live for years. I was in communication with the person towing my camper so you shouldn’t just say things that aren’t true. They were waiting on you guys to take a card and I told them that’s what we were waiting on. It’s strange behavior turning people away after they’ve already been assigned a spot and have their money ready. Something just isn’t right. I had no problem getting into another place. You guys should have spoke to me more but the only person I could speak with was the woman at the front desk who again wasn’t helpful and turned away a card that should’ve been accepted. If you wanted to help displaced people, you would. Nobody was helpful at all and I was treated very poorly. I asked to speak to whoever is in charge but nobody took the time or seemed to care. You should’ve taken the valid card that I was presenting but you didn’t and I was turned away. You made a hard time harder for me.. In the end I’m happy I’m not there. The things I have read about this place, the things people tell me about you all, and way I see you talking to everyone, my daughter and I would rather stay on my flooded property than be there. I am doing very well, thanks. I am happy to be staying in a different place with my camper. The people at this other place are very straight forward and kind and easy to communicate with. I had no issue with whatever way I wanted to pay! It’s the attitude I should’ve been met with at Pride. I hope you guys take this experience and actually think of ways you can improve on how you deal with people. I definitely got a lesson from this myself.

Was charged 3 separate times since February 5th, 2025. States that I was charged $420 in left over rent when the rent wasn’t due until the 18th and left the 11th. So it wasn’t prorated, and had already paid $200 on February 2nd. Says I was charged $200 and another $300 because the linen and towels were dirty because they were white and I work a blue collar job. Cigarettes were put into a can and not on the property, again screenshot shows from there rental agreement that only $50-$100 will be charged for “extensive cleaning or ruined linens” not $500. When asked for them to provide photos of damage they are claiming they refused and said to take them to small claims court. Want to talk about honesty, well the rental agreement says it all! Stayed here to help take care of storm cleanup and was only home from 7pm-5am, worked 7 days a week. Didn’t have time to make a mess that would even create $500 worth of damage. States they had to “chase me down for rent” however couldn’t even remember the day my rent was due. Moral of the story they are money hungry. Some white sheets that weren’t even a high thread count and 2-3 towels and 4-5 washclothes (we bought our own) does not cost $500. As you stated $200 was a refundable cleaning deposit (although we were never charged a cleaning “deposit”. We only got charged the $200 fee after we left, and your contract specifically said that we can not be charged more than $50-100 for “extensive cleaning and dirty linen” not $500. You can feel free to message me back about the proof and itemized list and cost of dirty linen and broke frame you insist I did

Vacationing in Maggie Valley, NC with our 5th wheel, and have been wanting to try Pride RV Resort. Made our reservation 2 weeks in advance, woman on the phone could not have been any nicer, and was extremely helpful assigning us our site, turned out to be a very nice site. Beautiful park and so accommodating to all. Wonderful park for families, swimming pool, hot tub, putt putt golf, shuffle board, slide, swing set, sand box, Cable, Cafe for breakfast and lunch, bean bag toss, beautiful mature trees, Cabins you can rent, clean showers and restrooms, laundry mat, hope I didn’t leave anything out. Jonathon Creek runs through the park, Hurricane Helene wreaked havoc last year and the campground is still working on getting back to normalcy. Sites well maintained, we had a pull through which is so convenient. Had a great visit at Pride and highly recommend this park. Bob and Debbie/ Mich. Go Blue!

Campground location is nice, and seems to be a great place during prime season with the amenities offered. Only complaint is when I booked (the Saturday before arriving monday) they failed to mention (booked over the phone) on the G row next to the river that they were dredging the river. So from 8am to 5pm or so we have had to listen to a track machine dig the river, a dump truck, and other pieces of equipment all day and the exhaust fumes . I just wished it would have been suggested to stay on other side of park atleast away from the work on the river .
