We stayed here while exploring the Bonavista Peninsula. The manager was sweet and helpful when we checked in, even gave us a little welcome gift! We parked in site #11, which backed up to the trees adjacent to the lake. We had 2 services - 30 amp electric and water hook-up on a level, gravel site. This was a great location from which to explore the peninsula. Beware of the steep driveway out if you are towing, unless you take the lesser slope towards the dump station.

We used the park as a home base while we toured Bonavista and area. We figured a night or 2 and ended up staying a week and a half. Touring is one thing, but we spent some days just hanging out at the park. It is so peaceful, quiet and comfortable. Florence was incredible! We absolutely loved our vacation and would definitely go back! The seasonal are all very friendly, offer lots of local must do activities, chit chat and stories! Thanx to Florence, Gordon, Bev, Christine and the other fantastic seasonals for a wonderful vacation!!!

The heart of Newfoundland in so many ways. It felt so natural with the lovely little lake it faces, fresh air and calming atmosphere but most of all, Florence who personified the old-fashioned Newfoundland art of going out of their way to help out their guests and make them comfortable. I'll not forget the place lovely people who run it. Ok

Awesome staff. Very friendly. We stayed at no. 5 next to the pond. Florence gave us parting gifts when we left to return home.
