We had a wonderful time at Progress Park! The host was very proactive in communication, instructions, and very friendly when we arrived. It was a very peaceful stay and exactly what camping should be... Walks, a peaceful lake, canoeing, fire pits, and hammocks. The owners have thought of everything when it comes to the campsites and park grounds. The camper (Grace) had everything we needed and the decor was so cute and homey and comfortable. We loved that there was a picnic table, a couple of chairs, and several more chairs around the fire pit. It was so nice to have hot dog and marshmallow roasting sticks as well as lighter fluid and firewood all provided. While we enjoy camping, we do not have a camper so this was a great experience. We had the best of both worlds by spending time at Progress Park and our campsite as well as exploring Louisville. We will definitely be recommending Progress Park to others and hope to visit again one day.
We come here once a year to celebrate a birthday. Fishing, kayaks, swimming, cornhole, camping, campfire, pickleball, chess, everyone can find something to do! Relaxing and fun. Make sure that everyone wears a life jacket (Which is provided), and the little ones will have an excellent time. My Grandson says its the best place ever!
Absolutely loved Progress Park, there is so much to do there from kayaking, canoeing, pickle ball, monster chess, stand up paddle boarding, grilling and sitting around the fire pit. Laundry & ice machine is available. Our airstream was adorable and so much fun to stay in. It's not far from good eats and shopping as well. Would totally recommend this for a fun getaway. They also have a new event center for weddings or other large gatherings.
OMGish I can’t even explain what an amazing place this is. We had our daughter’s Wedding here this past Saturday. We rented the entire campground & it was truly Magical with all our family & friends staying on site. The new event center is state of the art. Trust me you have to see this place to believe it. It’s hard to believe this gem is right in Buechel. It’s seems you’re far away from the daily stress of life. The owners are a delight to work with & they will help you with anything you need.
Went here for a Corporate Retreat - absolutely beautiful! There were many trails to walk, hammocks, games, everything you could ask for, for a camping night in the city!
