Customer Reviews
This place was beautiful to camp at. No sewer hook up, but electric was nice. Beware of the rope swing there by the river. Husband went off the rope swing, & landed in very shallow water, ended up breaking his leg in 2 places.
We’ve been here 3 yrs for a family reunion of around 100 people. First year we were in a camping cabin. It’s away from everyone. It’s dusty but not bad. Our second year we were in the lodge. Perfect! Loved it! Great grass area in front. This year we’re back in the lodge. It’s okay. A lot of bugs this year. The host is great and Friendly. The kitchen outside is great!! Everyone loves this area. So much to do! Bring every thing you need because stores and food places are far! Three starts because of the mice problem. Mice in the lodge. I’ve seen at least two in my room I’m staying in. Got one out but the other keeps appearing. Woke up to take medicine and in that short time I saw one in the kitchen, one in the bathroom and one in my room. I could hear one running a round in the couch when I was laying on it. The main shower is less than nice. The pillows are terrible, unless you like them flat.
It's a great place to have family reunions. It's beautiful, and I love that it's tucked away. I love the shade tree by the lodge, I love the grass. It fits so many needs. The out door kitchen is a huge plus. The negative part is that you have to bring your own towels, and shampoo when staying in the lodge. We didn't even have soap to wash our hands in the bathroom. The dish washer didn't work and there was dirty dishes left behind from the previous guests. The lodge didn't feel as clean as it has in the past. It was over run with mice and lots of mouse poop. But we didn't have that problem last year. Lots of bugs and spider webs. It's hard to wash dishes in the out door kitchen because there is only 1 tiny drying rack and no hand towels to dry dishes to put away. So if you only have a couple dishes, it's ok, but if you have more than 3, it's difficult. But really it's a great place and I would totally recommend staying.
Very accommodating for a big family reunion! Worked great for 38 people, 7 families. It's not glamorous, but it is clean and has everything you need for mealtime. A big yard to play in, a creek to float down in tubes and a swing over a small pond. We had a blast! Beautiful location, tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the outside.
It’s a perfect lush oasis in the middle of the desert. You’ll forget you’re in Utah. There’s fast internet and lots of beautiful SXS trails and biking to be had nearby.
