Best state park I've been to and I've been to a lot. The sites are perfect and level. There is so much for the kids to do. The play grounds are in great shape and awesome. The water park was amazing. The only thing I would change is the park said it was full and I would say it was 25% occupied. People don't cancel and that is what ruins it for others.
We love camping at Prophetstown because it’s well taken care of and has many things to do here. There’s a working farm with lots of animals, hiking/biking trails, playgrounds, and an aquatic center open in the summer.
Great place to stay with large sites and plenty of trees for shade. Has water park and lots of bike paths.
Wonderful campground! Clean, neat spots with ample room. Stones to mark spots are poorly placed as they make parking more difficult.
This is a beautiful State Park. They have full hookup (year round) since pipes are insulated) so I didn't need to use the shower house. We were just there for a quick overnight on our way south, but we'll be back to checkout everything else this park has to offer.
