We had the best time ever. The staff were fantastic to us and the campers there are the friendliest people I have ever met. It was very relaxing. I can only hope the overnight sites they have remaining stay overnight or possibly add more as most of the campground has become seasonal. Granville is a great area and this place is a lot of fun. Thank you for giving me the relaxing trip we needed. Our site was one of the best. It was well maintained, level, and wooded!!!! It felt like camping should. See you next year!!!!
Loved this campground but there was one real big negative. The full hook up sites have the sewer hook up on the wrong side of the camper and the water and electric are quite a distance from the sites. This would have been ok-ish, if you were alerted of this ahead of time. We had to borrow a water hose to reach the water, and had to borrow an extension cord. We couldn't use the sewer hook up because it was uphill and on the wrong side. When we tried to dump at the dump station, it was way uneven and our tanks didn't drain completely.
We booked a weekend in July for a very large group over 50 sites. I can't say enough about the campground. Everyone had such a great time. There was something to do for everyone. The cabins and Safari Glampers were super cute and comfortable. The staff was amazing, very helpful, patient and definitely went beyond the call of duty to provide us with great service. Several families have gone back to camp there since because they were so happy with the place. Looking forward to future events at Prospect Mountain Campground.
The camp site was suitable for our size travel trailer. Quite, very woodsey location. Internet was not all that great. Poor connection 😢 at times. Many seasonal camping sites among short term campers. People friendly. Adequate showers and toilet facilities on site.
Had a great weekend, even with the rain. Grandkids first time camping and they loved it, they didn’t want to leave. We enjoyed the pool, mini golf, and just walking around the campground. Our little 2 room rustic cabin was great, and we enjoyed playing games at night on the porch and roasting marshmallows around the camp fire. the staff and management were very friendly and helpful. We had such a great time we already booked for next July for 10 days.
