Great place to take the kids camping. Beautiful mountain scenery. Spacious tent sites and the playground, full bathrooms, and pay showers are within walking distance. A vaulted toilet is really close. A minor inconvenience is having to lug your gear in and out, but that is partially what helps make it more secluded. The provided bear boxes help a ton for your food. All tent sites have a fire pit, and large picnic table. If you have space to bring a fold up wagon I recommend it to help you cart your gear in and out. Plenty of trails to hike for all ages.

Gorgeous campground! Very well kept. We had site 065 which was the farthest site from the parking lot. Just under a quarter mile of a walk. No electric. Water faucets dispersed throughout campground. We loved how secluded it was. We weren’t super close to our neighbors. All the campers were quiet and respectful. Super friendly staff. Everyone smiles at you as you walk by. Fires were allowed while we were there. Bear lock boxes on every site. Clean bathrooms. Coin showers in the building by the amphitheater. There were gorgeous views of the mountains within the campground. We’d definitely come back to Prospectors Ridge Campground within the Mueller State Park.

This is a great tent only camp site in Mueller State Park. They amenities are easily walked to and access to the numerous trails are quick. I cannot say enough good things about this park and the staff which works there. During our last camping trip to prospector ridge we had a buck walk right through our camp sight which was a big hit with the children.
