Customer Reviews
Convenient, no frills RV Park. FHUs including wifi and garbage service. Clean and well kept. Close to Winnsboro, grocery stores, restaurants, retail, and fast food. Class A coaches are more challenging to level, but possible. Cost is reasonable.
We booked a full hook up site on 6/19/24 for 4 nights in October. We then called and spoke with the owner to verify all was good and he said yes, you will love it, we have plenty of spaces available. Then about Aug 22th 2024, a lady from the campground called to let me know that she had to cancel our reservation due to the fact that they could make more money by offering these spots to other people now. I even offered to take a less amperage of a site, and she said sorry they do not have any available. She said they had to cancel several reservations as it was better financially for them. She did not have a care in the world about the impact she had on others who already booked months in advance. Needless to say that with such short notice we had to pay and additional $1200.00 to find alternative lodging further away from our concert. I would never trust booking ahead of time with this campground. They will not honor the deals they make. I have never had a campground cancel due to a situation like this.
The camps sites are well maintained. The staff goes the extra mile to make sure you get set up with blocking for leveling. It is very quiet there. Also it has lots of different types of birds, blue birds, yellow finches, humming birds. There is even dear that comes up. Very nice place.
This is clearly a newer campground. The owner is setting it up well and the property is quiet. It is close to fast food and a grocery store. There are no extra amenities like laundry room or a playground or anything, and UPS will NOT deliver here but that is on UPS, not the campground. They are dog friendly to most breeds (they had no issue with my GSD).
This seems to be a newer campground. We really enjoyed it here. It is quiet and the lots are wide enough that you're not going to have to worry about hitting your neighbor's slide-out lol. The road is crushed asphalt and is kept well--we did not have any issues getting in and out at all. There are no extra amenities like laundry or bathhouse, but there is a clean laundromat close by. The town is quiet and small. You can choose your lot when you reserve your spot online and the center lots are backed up to a small hill so it's not like you have anyone right behind you. If we return to this area we will definitely return here.
