Absolutely stunning and beautiful body of water, you can rent Pontoon boats for only $120 plus applicable taxes for up to 4 hours!! Can't beat that! Friendly staff at the gate and at the marina, wish I could go back for a week with my boat and see all that there is to see . It's such a large body of water. Fishing I'm told is great there. Friendly people at the bait and tackle shop just up the road.
Have alot of fun here during the summer camping, just think that they could do something more with the beach as it can be dirty at times I would say 4 and a half stars but I don't know if that is possible
Very off season, so none of the facilities were open but was not charged for entry in the park.
We love Quakertown Marina! Jim, and Angie are great! The staff is always very helpful, and the rental prices for the pontoon boats is very reasonable! We had a great day on the lake, and will be back hopefully before the season is over! I recommend bringing a cooler full of drinks, and food for your time on the lake, since the only place I know of to eat is pretty pricey. If your looking for a fun day with the family, and you love being on the water you’ll love it!
It was very busy. We enjoy this beach even though it's kinda stinky. The bath house was in rough shape, from people not cleaning up after themselves. The showers are necessary after swimming in this lake but be prepared to shower in ice cold water.
