A favourite campsite in Qualicum. I have never had a problem getting a site at the last minute although waterfront and serviced sites may not be available for FCFS. Bathrooms and showers are clean plus there are plenty of pit toilets around the area. The reception area includes a small store for necessities and treats. Very helpful and accommodating staff.

Nice and quiet spot. We were standing in the second row with power and water. In the morning with breakfast and coffee at the beach, watching some whales a bit far away, binoculars would be helpful ;) At night watch the video... Very friendly and helpful stuff! Showers and washrooms are clean, just at the office and shop. Sani dump also possible, 5 CAD.

Great location but got off the Ferry and had a few issues with van got to front gate of camp ground as it was just after 9 pm and gate was locked with a sign saying ‘gate locked from 9pm to 7am’ 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ so disappointed!!! Understatement!!! Was nothing saying this when booking was made!!!! So had to camp at the front gate as didn’t hv anywhere to go at that time of night!!! Was no after hours phone number!! Wasn’t the night we wanted!

We have camped at Qualicum First Nation campground a few times over the years. In mid May I booked a week in a water front hookup site. We specifically discussed that we don’t like to be under/beside a tree and the lady assured me we had a treeless site - #30. That particular site does have a tree and the lower branches in the site are only 10’ high. Our 5th wheel is 13’2” high. After much ado, the new lady in the office was as helpful as possible given the campground is well booked up for the week we were there. We got a refund and ended up in a basic no hookup site at a lesser fee, and maintained a descent view. The gates do get locked from 9 pm to 7 am, but for a $20 returnable deposit, you can have a key so you may come and go at will, or secure your peace of mind if a locked gate is bothersome. The campground could use some upgrades to level sites and prune trees, but all in all, it’s a great place.

Been here twice now. Love the view, the seals are always playing/chasing fish, camp hosts are nice and campground is well kept. Will come back again!
