Customer Reviews
Our room was updated, clean and comfortable. We felt safe and slept well. We liked that the hotel was set back from the main drag - that helped to keep things nice and quiet. We also appreciated the blackout curtains, as well as the powerful dehumidifier in our room. That and the AC kept us cool and comfy all night. The owners keep this place neat and well-run. The front desk was welcoming and friendly. You have your choice of “exterior” rooms if you like the quick access to your car, but there are also “interior” rooms if you want to be close to the pool. There were a few hints of the usual wear-n-tear to expect from a 2-star hotel but what you get is a great value, a good night’s rest, and free hot breakfast before heading back on the road. Conveniently located next door to outlet shopping and box stores, but the best is that it’s only a 1/2 mile to Lambert’s restaurant, one of our favorite roadtrip stops in the USA! Thanks for the restful stay. We will definitely be back.
Inexpensive. Clean room. Nice attendants. Good continental breakfast. Soft bed and pillows. It is a good budget-friendly motel. I give 4 stars for the room because there is no built-in closet. The "closet" is a cabinet. And the clothes dresser is very small. It is, however, comfortable. And it is conveniently located.
We arrived and checked in at 3:15 with no issues. The location is close to everything, but the road has some pot holes to get to the hotel. The room had mold on the baseboards in the bathroom, the vanity mirror was spotty and chipping, the towels were stained, and right before we went to sleep we had to kill a cockroach crawling on the wall next to the bed. We were in room 216 and people would gather on the steps and socialize so we turned the fan on and left the tv on to drown out the noise so we could sleep. We live 6 1/2 hours away and it was 9:30 at night so we made it through the night, woke up and checked out at 7 AM. After seeing bugs in the room, I had no desire to even try the continental breakfast so I cannot speak on that. I would not recommend staying here unless it is a last resort.
I was shown 4 rooms and they ALL had a bad mold smell with leakage from the fridge. Room 108 tub didn’t work, but the water was constantly running. 110 had a leaking ceiling. Room 205 floor was saturated with water and the bath floor mat was dirty. The breakfast did not have boiled eggs nor scrambled eggs.. just sausage. The variety was not there like most quality inns. I would NOT recommend staying here as their rate is over inflated and the quality of rooms and breakfast is NOT worth it. You’d be better off staying in your car.
Nasty! Do not stay here!!! Choice Hotels and Quality Inn should not list this place…it should be shut down. I realize you usually get what you pay for and rates were good but there is no excuse for the condition of these rooms. We had a friend that had to be hospitalized in Foley hence our stay! Nasty! Nasty! Nasty! Bugs! Mold, Rust, Black Hairs everywhere, Horrible Breakfast. Do Not Stay Here!
