Quality Inn Banning I-10

TERRIBLE ! The Hispanic lady at the front was so rude to begin with (i am also Hispanic)…..i did not know which door to enter to get to my room and she was rude telling me where to go and I went to my room and my key didn’t work so I went back and told her and my mom made this reservation so my mom had to call to give verbal approval to let me in which is very understandable and I am very respectful about the policy but this lady started raising her voice at me like I did something to her when I went back because they key didn’t work. While I was waiting for my mom to call I was seated in the waiting area and she spoke to a man who came in and was a very different person and was giggly and kind to him but I didn’t do anything to her and was treated horribly and the Customer service from her was terrible. NEVER COMING BACK

I had no intention of spending the night in banning. I had gone to Morongo Casino. I had an enjoyable time and started to feel pretty uncomfortable. I do have Addison’s disease which at times weakness and nausea become uncontrollable. So I decided to stay at the quality Inn in banning. Due to the weakness and sickness, I was stuck sitting in my handicap van in front of the manager‘s office. I’m so sorry that I forgot to ask the name of the customer representative that came out to my van. She offered to help me. She brought me cold water and was so kind and loving. I’ve been a private caregiver for over 30 years, I’m proud to say that I specialize in Alzheimer’s, dementia, hospice patients, and due to my diagnosis I have enforced to temporarily leave the service that I have been proud of and love for so many years. During my conversation with the Customer Service young woman, I found out that not only does she love working at the quality Inn in banning, but she is also a caregiver. She helped me back to my room and I was not able to drive to return home in Anaheim, two of my dear friends, came to pick me and my van up, and when they arrived, the sweet sweet woman brought them to my room and offered to help me out to my vehicle. When I made the reservations through Hotels.com, the cost of the room was crazy inexpensive, I think it was only $60 so when I arrived, I kind of sort of expected a dump. Boy was I surprised I had a room with the king size bed in the handicap bathroom was so clean and smelled wonderful and I looked around and realized this room was above and beyond what I expected, although I didn’t partake in breakfast, this quality Inn provides a nice warm breakfast in the morning. I truly hope that someone from the corporate organization reads my post and does reach out and compliment. The young woman that checked me in the first night and the young woman who helped me the next day and the next evening. The corporate office needs to know that these two women absolutely shine as employees of quality in. If I ever find myself in banning area I need a room I will definitelyreach out to quality in banning.

Where do I begin? Arrived to the Hotel, was greeted by the staff, Lorena was very nice. Went into the room, which was really dirty and had a weird smell to it. I pulled back the sheets and it didn't even look like the bed sheets were changed out. The pillow cases were all stained, and they looked like they weren't changed out. Lorena switched rooms for me. This room wasn't much better. Paint pealing off the walls. Water stain in the restroom, from a previous leak. Floors were dirty, cigarette butts were in the room, we had to track down the cleaning people to clean the room better. Overall just a bad experience. The pool was nice.

The motel was nice in general. I was hoping for more of a breakfast than just carbs. There was juice, yogurt, fruit but no protein like eggs or hot foods. They did have the waffles. The receptionists were nice. The biggest problem was every night I walked into the motel and passed through the doors to get to the hallway to the rooms, there was a very strong smell of Marijuana. I don't care if people smoke but I don't want to have to smell it. It was all the way up 2 hallways and then came through the cracks in my door. It was always around the same time.

Is it feasibly possible to give a place 10 stars?!?! Excellent staff (loved Priscilla, she was sooo helpful), quality amenities, ACTUAL BREAKFAST, an open pool and comfortable beds with no bugs!! We WILL be coming back!!
