Quality Inn Creekside - Downtown Gatlinburg

Our stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing. While the location is excellent and the staff was friendly, the condition of the rooms was unacceptable. Upon arrival, we found blood on the door handle and a hole in the bathtub's fiberglass. The bathroom appeared to be decades old and in dire need of renovation. We were moved to a different room on the third floor (forced to take the stairs as the elevator was out of service) after my wife discovered the damage. While the second room had a functional bathtub and a larger TV, it was still dirty, the toilet was broken, and there was no hot water in the sink or shower. Given the late hour (2:04 AM), we opted not to request another room change. Instead, we contacted Choice Hotels customer service and escalated the issue to the property owner. We have canceled our reservation for the second night and will be staying elsewhere. In short, if you're looking for a bare-bones experience in a prime location, this might suffice. However, if you expect a clean, comfortable, and functional room, I strongly advise you to stay elsewhere. Consider yourself warned.

This review is based on an incident that happened while we were there. Hot tub room Clean and tidy Hot tub is 2 person Tub was great The issue we had was the shower had no water.... Called the desk.... They said they would send someone. No one ever showed! They did not offer another room. I'm a choice Gold member for a good reason. Always (until this stay) Excellent service at multiple locations! I'm sure corporate will be happy to reimburse me or at least compensate me. Fingers crossed 🤞 This was an isolated incident. I would happily come back for another visit. Gatlinburg is beautiful!

I recently stayed in a pet-friendly room, and while there were some positives, the room itself was not up to par. I’ve enjoyed many pet-friendly accommodations before, but unfortunately, this one fell short. The sheets could have been cleaner, and the walls seemed worn. The bathroom door looked like it had seen better days. On the bright side, the staff were incredibly friendly, and the breakfast was quite delicious! I wish the condition of the room had matched the overall warmth of the service. The price of the room was not justifiable given its condition.

Great location! Great service! Great breakfast! Located right across from Ober Gatlinburg you are walking distance to everything! Check in was easy, just be advised there is a parking fee. Rooms are comfy and quiet with great balconies to enjoy the creek and the views. This was my second time staying here and I will be back again.

Always a pleasant experience staying here. This has been one of our go to hotels for 4 years in Gatlinburg. Fantastic location, decent breakfast for the price. The rooms are decently sized and beds are very comfortable. The only reason for not giving 5 stars is you can tell they cheaply re-did the rooms when the remodeled them. The grout in the bathroom was cracked, the floor caught water from the shower and the carpet was wet because of it. But other than this, this hotel is great for the price.
