Quality Inn Delta Gateway to Rocky Mountains

I've stayed here several times over the last few months. The staff is kind and very helpful. I don't eat breakfast often, but there's a good spread every morning. The rooms are clean, the shower is hot, and the wifi is quite fast. Any time I work near Delta, I will continue to choose this location.

Rooms have always been clean as far as I'm concerned, and the device has been good. I've spent quite a few nights here over the past year, and the staff is friendly, remembers who I am, and have gone out of their way for me. The laundry didn't work, so the gentleman washed, dried, (in their large commercial washer in back) and took a little time to nicely fold and stack some of the clothes for me.

3 stars is pushing it! Upon check in the man at the desk had better things to do and more important places to be. After a longer than average drive over our snow storm covered mountains, I asked where the hot tub & pool were? He pointed in a general direction towards the outside and informed us it's over at the Recreation Center but it closes at 8pm. The Rec center is 4-5 blocks away so we drove over and were informed that we needed a pass from the (no) quality inn and that the center closes at 7pm, better than nothing. The Rec center is quite nice and the staff was very friendly. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The shower had very low pressure. A lamp in the corner should have been in the trash. The curtains were about to fall off the wall. The drywall patch work in the hallway the bathroom and sleeping area looked like the owners forced the staff to do it... If you are a light sleeper, pick another place. Every couple hours through the night a freight train would rumble by and blast the horn at crossing. Then comes the question, is my vehicle going to be stolen or broken into. The indifferent man that checked us in had his old black Acura SUV parked under the entry canopy all night? Lastly, the continental breakfast was fine, just what all the others offer and a second man was doing a nice job keeping the area clean, even though the trash was close to overflowing, with Mr indifferent doing nothing but speaking loudly in his native tongue... I'd recommend going another 25-30 miles to Montrose for a better night stay.

Great place, stayed here a lot. Always clean, always open, always kind. Good for a one night stay or even a week. Great service up front.

Ive stayed at a Choice Brand Hotel 158 nights this year with at least 3 rooms each night for my employees. Ive been a very loyal customer and realize that some times issues arise, but this quality inn in Delta Colorado has had the worst customer service, and the dirtiest rooms I've ever experienced. We had to switch rooms during our first week because of bed bug issues. Several of my employees were harrased and accused of staying there without reservations and were denied new key cards when their's wouldn't work. A hotel employee walked into one of my employees rooms while they were in the room getting ready for bed. I tried to make a complaint to a manager but I don't think they care at all. I canceled my reservation for the rest of this week and booked a hotel an extra 45 minutes away from my jobsite so I wouldn't have to deal with this horrible establishment or the unhelpful and rude employees and management. I would never stay in this hotel again and will make sure I tell everyone possible about the atrocious conditions and horrible staff. This hotel (Quality Inn @ Delta CO) and the management have sullied the choice hotels brand with me, and I have chosen to book rooms with a different chain in the future.
